Busy getting stuck into my first lambing down in the Scottish Borders!

Missing home and all my animals as well as my regular customers. I'll be away lambing until the end of April and then I will be starting lambing at home 🏡🐑😀🐾

Bookings are open for shearing so please get in touch if you need any sheep clipped so I can add you to the diary ✂️

🐑🐑🐑🐑Lambing time 🐑🐑🐑🐑

It's crept up on me but I will be heading off for the lambing season on the 25th of February, there will not be any availability for a while probably until late April.

Thank you for all your ongoing support I'll keep you updated when I am back from lambing, Anyone looking for small flock sheep shearing this season get in touch! ✂️🐑 😃

Lochview Rural Training Centre is a charity and social enterprise based on a croft near Lairg.

The training centre offers a wide range of activities and training in land based, environmental and heritage skills, to children, young people and adults of all ages and abilities.

People come to Lochview Rural Training Centre to learn how to care for the animals, the environment and the land on which they live or work; to develop new skills to help them in their careers; to make goods from products grown on the croft; or just to make new friends. Some people go on to further learning, to new jobs or careers, or even set up their own businesses.

Lochview Rural Training Centre runs a wide range of activities and training sessions throughout the year either at the croft, in schools or out in the community. We are busy planning activities, training and projects for 2025 /26 and we would love to hear what type of training, support or activities you would like to be part of in the coming year.

We have put together a short survey that should take no more that 5 minutes to complete that can be done on either your phone or computer. As a thank you for completing the survey and helping us to plan the types of training and activities we should offer, each completed survey will be put in to a random prize draw to win a £25 Amazon Voucher. A separate survey can be completed for each child, young person or adult in your household.

Hi Everyone! I hope you've all had a wonderful winter break, I'm getting back to my usual routine after a lovely Christmas with family and friends. 🎊

🚘My car is currently needing some repairs, so I will have limited availability until that's sorted but I do have availability for some dog walks so get in touch if you are needing any.

🐕Please get in touch if you have not had walks with me before and would like to explore the idea of a dog walker, I offer free meet and greet sessions with you and your dog, no commitments required.

Been a busy few days over Christmas, feeding sheep horses and Cats! But made time in-between it all to get out for a wee ride this afternoon.

We are currently closed for new bookings until after the break and dog walks will be up and running in the new year! 😊 Hope you're all having a wonderful festive season, send some Christmas or Animal pics in the comments ⬇️👇
