One of our lovely Active Paws pups Bruno has had a blast this morning at the beach with his buddy Max. He chose his own treat (a pork roll!) then carried it all the way to the beach and ate it on the stones with the waves crashing in the background.

A great way to start a Sunday!

⚠️ ❗️ Warning to all Christchurch Park Users.

This one’s quite a serious one, as I found a large very sharp shard of glass this morning near the big mound in the middle of the park when dog walking.
This could have been a serious accident waiting to happen. Dogs running around playing, children rolling down the mound, even just someone simply sitting and having a picnic. Not to mention the wildife that could die as a result of an injury from glass like this.

Now lots of you enjoyed music in the park this weekend and I am really pleased as it was a wonderful event for the town, however!! This is exactly why glass bottles should not be allowed on the park period.

If you drink it, then bin it responsibly. Most of you probably did, and well done to you all. However whoever left this didn’t…

Don’t just leave it for someone like me to find days later, or for an innocent being to get seriously hurt.

Any number of dogs or people could have been injured - This isn’t cool, this isn’t funny, this isn’t just someone being irresponsible.

There is no need.

Bins are always there - Just have some respect for others and use them.

Bloat is extremely deadly and something that can happen at any time of the year!
Please check out the signs below and learn them and if you see any warning signs from your dog don’t delay contact your vet right away. It could save your dogs life. 🙏🏻

Such sad and shocking news to wake up to,
Paul o Grady will surely be met at the rainbow bridge by a lot of wagging tails, I like to think he will now be back with his precious Buster.
The world will be a much sadder place without him that is for sure.
Thank you Paul for all those dogs and cats you spoke for and helped find homes for who didn’t have a voice.

We are proud to say we have passed!!
A wonderful and very in depth course, it was very enjoyable and really interesting!
Thank you again Anglia First Aid and Mark Davis.
It was lovely to meet some fellow dog walkers and in such a small group too, it felt almost like a one to one class. Absolutely brilliant. I highly recommend.

Today was a day off after yesterday being in a classroom for a pet first aid course to brush up on our skills. 🤜🏻 we met some lovely people, made new friends and actually had lots of fun!
So to top it off, We took a sneaky Sunday trip to the zoo today and saw the baby rhino!! - Happy Happy Happy.
It was way to cute not to share with you all! 💕

💕 💔 does anyone need a blanket buddy?…..

BLANKET BUDDY ANYONE? 🤗

Baby has her blanky at the ready for snuggles under it with her future adopters! Could those adopters be YOU? 🤞💖

She is currently on week 2 of recovering from her cruciate surgery and doing amazingly! This hasn't stopped her search for a forever home, and we hope it's just around the corner🤞🏡

In the meantime, she will continue being cute, having her daily massages, getting cuddles and eating dog friendly pancakes for tea tonight!🥞
