This is little Coco!

She is very excitable and just adorable!

I was great fun getting to know this lovely little girl!

She soon settled down for her groom, and she had all of her home comforts around her and was able to do her after bath zoomies!

Look forward to seeing this little girl in the future 💕

This is Alfie! 12 year old border terrier, and I know what you're thinking he does not look his age! Such a sweet lad, he had alittle sit down breaks to rest, but in all honesty, he just stood there with no body strap and actually enjoyed his pamper today he nearly fell asleep 🐾❤️

I handstripped him today. What the means is I stripped back his wire guard hairs, which left his soft undercoat. A lot of terrier breeds do have wire coats, and the best cause of action is handstripping, but not one size fits all. Some coats are not great to strip if the coat is too soft and fluffy, this can because by hormones, or if they have been Clipped before, age, and the general health of the dog aswell. Borders Terriers are a fun breed to groom! I had a lot of fun and as you can see how handsome he looks 💕☺️

I have groomed Lady since she was a wee puppy! I just love her! So affection but yet mad as a hater 💕❤️🐾🐶
She did amazing bless her, and I look forward to seeing you all in 6 weeks 💕

Some dogs do have hair growing out of their ears very common in poodles/poodle mixes, Schnauzers, Lhasa apso"s, Shihtzu, and some terriers These hairs inside the ears need to be plucked now and then. Just allow the airflow down the ear to prevent infection and also make it easier for you to clean as well.

Had the pleasure meeting Mo and Monty today! 🐾🐶

Both had a bath, dry, deshed, nails and ear cleaning! And of course fluffy marshmallow finishing spray! 😍

Both did really well today and I look forward seeing them both in July ❤️❤️

Before and After! 🐾🐶

Little Brody had a little pamper today! 💅

He had a nice bath and had a conditioning treatment (helps loosen the undercoat) blow dry, nails, pads ,ear clean, really good brush out and of course a good tidy up! He is summer ready 😎

As we head into the warmer weather, Brody is in need of a good deshed and tidy! I made sure I went nice and short in between his toes so it would be easier to spot any grass seeds!🐾

It's so important that we brush double coated dogs on a regular basis this really help regulate their body temperature and also prevent heat stroke and overheating. Especially now we are heading for summer.💛

This beautiful girl name is Summer she is a rescue dog from CapeVerde, and she had an amazing journey to the UK🇬🇧 I really enjoyed hearing all about it. She is a nervous girl, and it has taken her time to get used to her new life. Her owners and Tony have done an amazing job getting her settled into her new life!

Today was the first time I met little Summer, it took time for her to approach me, but after a little time, she let me touch her. This was her time to get used to me and get to know each other. I wanted to make sure we had a little trust before I started anything.

Summer is not a fan of the dryer, so I used something called a happy hoody. This protects the ears from the dryer, blowing air around the ears, and also muffles the noise. Kay also helped. She cuddled and reassured little Summer to keep her calm. She also had her nails and ears cleaned for the first time today, and she did so well.
Overall, she did amazing today. we were all pleased with the outcome of her groom today.

I really enjoyed getting to know Summer and looking forward to grooming her in the future and also seeing her confidence to progress each time I come and visit 🧡

This is what Button Noses is all about, being able to take the time to get to know the dog and the owner, and being able to adapt things to make the dog more confident and comfortable. 🐾🐶❤️🐾

Went missing after being chased by 2 labs yesterday in Belstead Brook/Belstead Meadows, Ipswich.

Puppy intro grooms!

I always say the puppy intro grooms are so important! It's a slow introduction of dog grooming! Gets them used to the bath, the dryer and also getting used of being handled so we are able to trim them safely. We work at thier pace to see what areas we can help them get used to. To them this is a whole new world and my job is to make it a positive experience for them. The sooner we can introduce grooming the better and with regular appointments once they get to adult cuts they will be used to everything.

After 6-7 months they will be charged as adult cuts depending if thier adult coat has come through.

Pups can have a puppy groom after they are fully vaccinated and can go for walks(usually after 12 weeks).

A little about Button Noses Dog Grooming Services

Do you enjoy your home comforts? So does your dog! Keeping a calm environment when grooming will promote a positive atmosphere and where to do that better than in your own home?

We work with you and your dog on a 1 to 1 basis to create the best grooming experience. This will be at your dog’s space and comfort where we will groom at their pace and not rush.

Every dog is different and we will adapt to cater to their needs.

Currently we can only groom small/medium dogs due to safety reasons. We will let you know when we are able to groom larger dogs.

Alittle about me..

I have always had a love for dogs! I started dog grooming when i was college when I was 16 and I just loved it! I have carried on 15 years later working in different set ups! Working with all different breeds and temperaments. Every dog you groom you build a bond and you love them just as your own!
