🌟 CANCELLATION + NO SHOW POLICY 🌟

I wanted to post my updated cancellation policy as I have had a few no shows/on the day cancellations recently.

Last minute cancellations sometimes can’t be helped which I understand. However, I’m not always able to fill the appointment with such short notice or if people fail to show up for appointments without letting me know which means I lose out on income.

I now require 48 hours notice of cancellation. If the appointment is cancelled with less notice than this there will be a charge. The charges are as followed:

- Less than 48hrs (but more than 24hrs) notice won’t be charged but I will need a deposit before rebooking.

- Less than 24hrs notice will result in a charge of 50% of the groom price. This will need to be paid before I can rebook.

- No shows will result in a charge of full payment of the groom. This will need to be paid before I can rebook.

There will be exceptions to this as some things can’t be helped but these will be at my discretion.

Schnoodle puppy Ruby had her first trip to the Groomers on Monday for first puppy intro 🥰🐾

My puppy package is £20 for all breeds up to 6 months! It includes:
- Bath, Brush and Blow-dry
- Nails clipped
- Ears cleaned
- Eye and Paw tidy (if needed)

Getting them familiar with grooming from a young age makes the experience much more comfortable for them as they get older! 🐶🐾

November is filling up fast, I am also off for a week at the end of November as I am on holiday.

December is filling up fast with Christmas appointments, the week leading up to Christmas is almost fully booked already.

If phoning to make an appointment please leave me a message with your phone number. I can’t always see numbers on missed calls and I also use my personal phone so get a lot of junk calls so just helps me know who is looking for appointments.

I can’t always answer my phone if I’m working and when I’m off I have two kids under 3 at home so I’m not always able to answer but I will get back to you asap if you leave a message with the best number.
If looking for an appointment please also let me know your dogs breed so I can look for an appointment ready for phoning back.

I’ve had a couple of people ask what shampoo I use for it - all my desheds are done with The Pawdinary Grooming Supplies - “blown away” shampoo and it’s amazing 🤩🐾

🌟 FLEA POLICY 🌟

Please check your dogs over thoroughly for any fleas prior to their appointment with me. Even if they have regular flea treatment, there is still a chance they can pick them up. They seem to be rife this year!

I have had to close the salon early twice this week due to dogs having fleas. When a dog comes in with fleas, I need to deep clean the salon, disinfect and use a flea bomb to ensure they are all gone and don’t get passed on.

As of today, I am now going to have to charge a £20 flea charge for any dog that I have started grooming that has fleas. I understand how hard they can be to see but I have already lost out on nearly £200 this week due to cancelled appointments from closing early, as well as the cost of flea bombs and cleaning time.

If I see fleas prior to the groom starting, I won’t start the groom. If I find them after starting, I may need to stop the groom without finishing, or send your dog home wet as blasting a dog dry will spread them further round the salon. In this instance, the full amount for the groom is still required to be paid, along with the £20 flea charge.

If you do find fleas on your dog, regardless of how short notice to the appointment, please let me know and we can reschedule.

Christmas is always a busy time of year for Groomers. I do already have a few appointments booked for December and they’re starting to fill up fast. Please message me if you have a date in mind before Christmas that you would like your dogs groom🐶✂️

I will close at 5pm on Saturday the 23rd of December and will reopen at 8:30am on Tuesday the 9th of January! 🐶🐾
