As many of you will already be aware, Kegworth market place is currently entering week 4 of a 14 week refurbishment. This work has already impacted us as understably the lack of parking has deterred some customers.
As a result we have made the decision to temporarily amend our opening hours. This means we will have the flexibility to offer more delivery options, while continuing to add more products to our website.
We hope that the introduction of these new opening hours will help us to keep costs down during this period. While still encouraging our customers to come & see us when the shop is more easily accessible, after the workmen have left.
We want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support! We look forward to reintroducing longer opening hours once again, in the summer.

ā¢Dog & Jones Small Breed:
Despite their size, small breed dogs have similar energy requirements to their larger relatives. Thatās why we pack the same exceptional ingredients and nutritional expertise into our smaller sized kibble that is specifically designed to suit smaller mouths.
Anatomically, a small dog has a smaller stomach, so they canāt consume large meals. Due to this, itās essential to feed them a small breed dog food specifically designed to support their nutritional requirements to gain everything they need in a smaller portion. This is why our Small Breed recipe is formulated with higher crude protein and crude fat levels than our standard adult recipes.
Small breed dogs have a faster metabolic rate than large breed dogs. This means that they have much higher energy requirements per kilogram of body weight, which is why our small breed recipe has a higher calorie content and is nutrient-dense.

Our large breed recipe is nutritionally complete & balanced and comes in a larger kibble size to promote chewing and prevent gorging or fast consumption of food, which could lead to bloating and digestive upset.
The size and weight of large breed dogs can put more strain on their joints so weāve added a combination of glucosamine, chondroitin & methylsulfonylmethane to support cartilage metabolism and help maintain healthy joints.
Large dog breeds also have a large muscle mass which needs to be supported by high quality sources of protein, this is why our large breed recipe is high in fresh & dried protein and provides a moderate level of fat to help avoid unnecessary weight gain.
