If you have visited our shop this week, you will have seen our purple poppy window display. The purple poppy has long been a symbol of remembrance for animals lost in service but until recently was much less well known than the traditional red poppy.

The aim of the purple poppy is to give the animals who served and continue to serve the recognition they deserve, and to ensure they are not forgotten.

Animals like horses, dogs and pigeons were often drafted into the war effort, and those that wear the purple poppy feel their service should be recognised.

Wow! The Big Howl-o-ween Dog Walk was a huge success on Saturday!🥾🎃🐾

We had more people & pups turn up than we ever imagined. Everyone had the best time and our goodie bags went down a treat!

Our fancy dress prizes went to Helaina for her devil horns & Merlin the Whippet for his spider costume (that he managed to keep on for the entire walk!).

Before the walk was even over everyone was asking when the next one would happen!…How does ‘The Even Bigger Festive Dog Walk’ sound?👀🎄

We will release details a little nearer to the event.
