ITS CALENDAR COMPETITION TIME!!

Our 2025 annual calendar competition is now under way!
This is our 10th annual calendar competition and the theme this year is Adorable Cats.
We are looking for 15 gorgeous photos of your cats to feature in our 2025 annual calendar. You can enter as many times as you like between now and 31st August, either by email to [email protected] or via Facebook.
Your cat/s don't need to be from us.
Please ensure that your photos are available in high resolution, and they need to be in landscape format or able to be cropped to landscape.
Please ensure we have your cats name and full address as if you win, we will need to be able to send your winners pack.

UPDATE: We are absolutely thrilled to let you know the lovely little Pumpkin and Pip have gone to a loving new home.

DISAPPOINTMENT FOR PUMPKIN & PIP:

Poor little Pumpkin and Pip have been let down. The people who booked them didn't turn up or contact us, so they are now still waiting for a loving home. Their Mum and siblings will all be gone soon, and they will be alone. They are a pair of beautiful soft apricot ginger boys - they are trusting, affectionate and playful. VOLUNTEER MORNING CLEANERS NEEDED:

We need cat loving volunteers to clean our cat units. This is an essential part of the day to day running of our centre, and an important role.
If you can regularly donate 3 to 4 hours of your time for 1 to 2 mornings per week, we would love to hear from you.
You will need to be over 18 years of age and physically fit, as there will be plenty of bending and kneeling required.

We need loving homes for the cats in our care. Unless we can find homes for them, we won't be able to take any more in, as we are full.

This is a difficult situation that absolutely breaks our hearts.

THE FIFTH KITTEN FOUND!

We have collected the fifth little kitten in our homeless family. Now happily reunited with his mum and siblings, tucking into plenty of kitten food and snuggling into soft bedding.

We are so relieved that they are all ok, together and safe.

MUM & KITTENS REUNITED!

We are so happy to tell you that the 4 little kittens that Ruth and Allan brought into their care on Tuesday night, are now happily reunited with their Mum!

On Thursday night Ruth and Allan did the 90 mile round trip again, hoping that the cat they were collecting would be the mother cat that was nowhere to be found on Tuesday. How amazing that she was, and they are now back together, safe in their cosy den at our centre. Mum is very thin and exhausted, but a sweet girl and happy to be with her babies again.

After fearing that the kittens had been abandoned alone, this is a very happy ending. They will be well cared for before moving on to loving homes.

A NIGHT OF IT FOR RUTH & ALLAN:

Last night, Ruth and Allan did a 90 mile round trip to collect a litter of abandoned little kittens that 17 other rescues wouldn't help. They weren't home until past 11pm, but they were still up early as normal.

They haven't asked for this to be posted, but as admin we thought it was important to mention, because they repeatedly go above and beyond to rescue cats and kittens in need.

These are the 4 little babies from last night in their den, - a lucky little black baby, a gorgeous classic tortie, and a pair of almost identical tuxedos! - and they have been tucking into plenty of kitten food!

NB: please watch out for messages from scammers - we have got rid of some and hopefully that will be it. So annoying. ###

JAYA & HER KITTENS: Jaya, a beautiful blue and white girl came into our care as a heavily pregnant homeless cat. She gave birth to her three little boys, Jolly, Jester and Joker at our centre and we are happy to say that after a slightly difficult birth, they are all doing very well. We hope you enjoy seeing them. In our 1st video, they are just 2 weeks old.
