Both logos share the same arch and botanicals, but here the focus is on what I love most — your pets. 💛

Today is National Dog Day 🐕 ♥️🐾

A lovely reminder of just how much our dogs bring into our lives – from muddy walks to quiet evenings on the sofa.

I’ve been lucky enough to draw so many of your beautiful dogs this year, each with their own character and story. Feeling grateful to spend my days celebrating them through art 🎨💛

It’s just £2 a square for the chance to have your furry friend painted — normally worth £185 — and every penny helps support the amazing work they do looking after retired police dogs.

M A B E L 🐾

This beauty is Mabel — a caramel and lavender whirlwind of energy, loyalty, and pure Doberman sass who is adored by her family.

Painting her was like trying to bottle up a storm and make it sit still — and I loved every second of it. Mabel is bold, a little chaotic, and completely herself. We should all be a little more Mabel.

This piece was created for a very dear friend of mine, someone who loves her dogs like family (because they are). ❤️

Here’s to the loud ones, the fast ones, the dogs who never sit still — and the people who love them with everything they’ve got 🐾💛

Oh my goodness, BOOP.

I just had to share this little nose close-up with you all! 🎨 I am in love with this nose.

Did you know that a dog’s sense of smell is so powerful, it's like 100,000 times more acute than that of humans? It's all down to the structure of their noses, which contain around 300 million olfactory receptors compared to the mere 5 million we have!

Not only can dogs pick up scents from far distances, but they can also differentiate between different smells, allowing them to identify various emotions, diseases, or even locate missing persons.

This unique sense of smell allows them to experience the world in a completely different way than we do. Its fascinating!

Their noses aren't just cute; they're magical tools that connect them more deeply to their surroundings!

Anyways, I'll share the portrait in the coming days when it's been gifted !

Linzi’s growing gallery of beloved pets has a new addition. The lovely Buzz. He’s the fifth dog portrait I’ve painted for her, and what a joy he was to bring to life. Those soulful eyes and soft, wispy ears were an absolute dream to paint.

It means the world to be trusted time and again to capture such special companions. ♥️

One of 2 Maine C**n portraits that are shipping off to Switzerland when they're done. I really loved painting all his wispy fur. His cat brother is just as radiant. Watch this space!

The soulful gaze of a lovely black Labrador called Poppy.👀

I had the pleasure of painting Poppy this week and what a heart stealer she is .
Originally a rescue pup from Wales during lockdown, she now spends her days charming humans in a train carriage on the edge of Bassenthwaite lake. Not a bad place to end up!

This painting was an A4 portrait completed in pastels , watercolor & pencils.
I used my new Sennelier pastels to revel in the warm umber and deep indigos that made up her lovely black coat.

Check out the gorgeous kind eyes on this beautiful lady Pitbull mix. Meet the gorgeous Dutch. She has been the face I got to know very well over the holidays.
It was really lovely to paint her. Huge thankyou to Cliff for the commission.
This portrait is flying out all the way to the USA . Always remember that international portraits are so very welcome! They just might not come with hand delivery 😂

So delighted to share this handsome chocolate Labrador Ronnie with you! He was one of my Christmas commissions but was gifted early! Sometimes the anticipation is too much! I'm thrilled to be able to share 🤣♥️
I really enjoyed working on his rich Colouring and matching nose. Absolutely adorable!
