Formulated to deliver targeted colour to the legs, mane and tail, through the inclusion of specially patented nature-identical pigments, Matchy Matchy Mixes will produce lustrous matching tones to fully complement many of the most fashionable accessory sets on the market.

Incorporating the latest edible pigment technology, Matchy Matchy Mixes are high in fibre and low in starch so are an ideal base diet for horses working at all levels. Each then contains a tailored blend of exotic herbs and bacteria-friendly pigments which, when fermented in the hindgut, are able to attach to the specific keratins found in the coarser hair of the mane and tail. In a unique iron-chelation process, these pigments will also gather in the limb extremities and be expressed in the feather and hair from knee and hock down, with particular depths of colour being shown in those equines with white socks or stockings.

After a gradual introduction, colour takes just 24 hours to develop so a little forward planning may be necessary to co-ordinate saddlecloths, ear covers and riding attire, while the ultra-creative may choose contrasting colour sets to enhance their equine’s new radiant coloured locks. The possibilities are endless! Whims can change, however, and colour will also fade over 48 hours, when Matchy Matchy Mix is withdrawn, yet all feeds in the range are compatible so can be immediately substituted to allow the development of an alternative palette.

Choose from four colour variants, for 2021, developed with an eye to the season’s newest colourways, and tweaked by Nutritionists to tone in with your favourite new shade.
