Please please know your stuff & don’t be walking your babies in this heat they won’t suffer from not getting a walk, they will suffer from having a walk!!

☀️HEATSTROKE KILLS DOGS☀️

Every year our vets treat hundreds of heat stroke cases and, heartbreakingly, some end in tragedy.

Many are unfortunately a result of owners exercising their dogs between 8am and 8pm when temperatures can be at their peak.

With the temperatures starting to rise it’s critical to know when it’s too hot for your dogs. Heat-related illnesses are almost always preventable.

DONT TAKE THE RISK and make sure your pet isn’t overheating in the sun.

If you think your dog may be suffering from heat stroke, contact your vet immediately or, if out-of-hours, find your nearest emergency vet.

IMPORTANT HOT WEATHER POST!☀️
Now that we are coming into experiencing some hotter days, I would like to make you all aware of what will happen please note emails have been sent out previously.

All walks shall be brought forward to mornings if possible to avoid higher temperatures, however if NOT possible walks will be substituted to a drop-in visit at your home to ensure they can still receive enrichment, fun&fuss also go to the toilet.

The weather is always changing, I shall be monitoring the weather and making my clients aware of these substitutions when necessary to do so. Please be understanding that this could be on the same day as the walk.

Your dogs safety is my upmost PRIORITY🤎
