It’s so freaking hot! 🥵 Cubby just wants to tell you we beat the heat today with an early pack walk with friends 🐶🐻‍❄️🐾👣

It’s looking like this weeks weather is going to be too hot for pack walks at midday 😞
I shall be doing the same as last year. If you’re at work and your dog needs a toilet break I shall take them to play at their friends garden. So they aren’t completely missing out. Your dogs safety is takes absolute priority. I would like to walk them until old age rather than finishing them off in this heat 🥵
I will let you know individually in case we do have a weather change. Your dog will be seen so don’t panic. And let’s hope this doesn’t last too long 🤞🏻

How lovely is my friend Charene!? I had her dog Dusty while she was on her well deserved holiday in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
Not only did she get me a cow mug, friendship bracelet and coaster… she also brought me a bag to vomit in 🤮😉
If you can’t tell, I’m absolutely joking. Tea is being brewed in my new mug and bracelet is already on ❤️🐾👣

My girl Summer (chow) can’t join our long adventure walks and I know she misses her pack walks 🥺 So I absolutely love that I have Rushton Meadows so she can take it as easy as she needs to 🥰🐾👣

My sweet little baby Millie and I have our own language. It works brilliantly for photos 📸☺️ Usually I would call a name but they all come running. Which is fine if I want a group pic but sometimes I just want a solo pic. Millie is deaf so between every sniff she likes to check where I am. If I wave, she comes running for cuddles 🥰 Of course it’s fantastic if you’re loved by a human. But being loved by an animal is priceless 🐶❤️🐾👣

When I began dog walking as a profession in 2015, my Mum was concerned and said, “I’m just a little worried that working on your own will be a bit lonely”. My Mum was many wonderful things but she was absolutely not an animal person 😆 So she didn’t understand that you could never be lonely with dogs. I’ve never felt more fulfilled in a job 🥰 Making dogs happy is the easiest thing in the world and yet I can call this ‘my job’! 🤯

Besides what I wrote below, I can’t thank Charene enough for all she does for me. Not only does she help Rushton Meadows run smoothly with me. Charene and I voice note constantly during the day. After the year I’ve just had, (still having) 🙈 that service is priceless. I guess I’m saying she’s kinda vital to my day to day life and she’s kind of a big deal 😆🥰

Big thanks to Farmer David for organising. The beacon was the biggest we’ve achieved yet, and although the fire brigade were called by the public the firefighter’s were more than happy with the safety precautions we all took. Remembering what our ancestors went through for us to have the lives we do is priceless ❤️🤍💙
