Hope everyone is well. I’ve still got some spaces for pop-ins over the summer holidays if you’re going away and need your cat/s or any other small animals looked after. My potty grand-dog Layla, who I’ll be looking after in September 😀

Today it becomes mandatory for owned cats that are over 20 weeks old and living in England to be microchipped.

As the weather warms up, the European Adder will be out and about. This is the only venomous snake native to the UK!

If your dog is unfortunate enough to get bitten, stay calm and get veterinary help as soon as possible - you can reach us on 01858462839

🟣 Keep your dog close to you or on a lead around areas known for Adder populations – this will stop them from bothering the snakes and the likelihood of the snakes striking.
🟣 If you see the snake, try to remember what it looks like (but do not get close or try to harm it - they are a protected species).
🟣 Leave the bite alone, don't apply a bandage or tourniquet.
🟣 If an Adder has bitten your pet, call your vet immediately, and if possible, carry your pet to stop the venom from spreading.
🟣 Even if you have been on a walk and haven't seen your pet get bitten but they are acting out of character or you notice any swellings, call your vet to be safe.
🟣 Remain calm and contact us on 01858462839

We want to alert our clients about a scam targeting pet owners.

Scammers are posing as veterinary practices and calling owners of missing pets, claiming the pet is injured and needs urgent treatment. They ask for payment over the phone.

🟣Do not give your details to anyone who calls you.
🟣Tell them you will call back.
🟣Look up the veterinary practice number online and call them directly.

Stay vigilant and protect your information.
