Hi all! Whilst this page has had some inactivity with posts, we’ve had a lot of familiar faces this year! Unfortunately, whilst on my yearly trip to the ski house, we have been faced with another growing issue regarding dog welfare.

We have had the lovely Shiela and her young puppies come to entertain us this week. They have been named ‘Mordu’ & ‘Elinor’ - or as Sam has called them, Burger & Sausage. They are the sweetest souls and have spent the week learning that not all hands have ill intent towards them.

However, yesterday we received news that a tagged and neutered puppy, Baby Bear, from last years trip had been unnecessarily killed for doing nothing but being alive. It is the ultimate reminder that without help, these puppies will have a slow death and little time to find a better future. These dogs will face a death by rat poison or anti - freeze, which dissolve their organs and leave them to die in the cold.

These are Sheila’s second batch of puppies, her previous two faced the same fate these will.

I always vouch for international adoption. It’s harsh to see in person, but nothing will help these dogs live a full life without making people aware. The process is uncomplicated, and people out here work endlessly to provide these animals with a better life.

Another week with Poppy, Pickle and the cats - with a new addition this time! These guys have had daily visits and walks whilst their family has been away getting some well deserved sun!🐾

A notice for my lovely present and future customers🫶🏼

I have made the decision to place an increase on my prices in order to grow with the rising economy. I absolutely love what I do and wish to provide the best care for the best prices however with the growth of my business, qualifications and living costs it is unfortunately unavoidable as much as I’ve wanted to put it off. Please note that this will NOT affect any care which has already been booked in and received deposits for. The prices below will be in place from May 1st, therefore any care booked in before this date will still abide by the previous price list.

Sorry guys, it’s a longer one today! As all my lovely clients know, I’m currently away for the week in Bulgaria visiting our beloved house - however this week we have three new faces popping over to join us!

Meet Dave, Ozzie and Bear (lovingly named by the group with us on holiday), just a few of the many dogs affected by the negligence for pets in this country. Whilst these guys and others around our village are generously fed by our angel neighbour and dear friend, many will go without as there is simply not enough space or resources to keep up with the amount of abandoned animals. In many lower income countries animals of all breeds will face being thrown out, dumped and left to fend for themselves in the freezing winter and scorching summers.

As some of my clientele will already know, we have rescued and rehomed as many as we can since being here, so I urge for those wanting to build their families to consider overseas rehoming! The process is uncomplicated and provides animals such as these three with a much better life and chance of survival. Whilst we have been able to help give dogs and cats a full, healthy and long life, many unknown animals will live without the comfort of a home for the rest of their time. They are as deserving and lovable as the rest, so please consider expanding your options to save those here who will most likely spend their final moments facing poison or being shot in the middle of the street. Their innocence and forgiveness is still their most prominent quality despite what they’ve had to endure, many here do not deserve these animals.

Honestly this one deserves a post for herself! I’ve been lucky enough to spend the past three weeks checking in daily with Millie and she has the best character - not only the most picture perfect Retriever but also the goofiest🫣
