Today was my last day before I return to the dog grooming world🥺🐶

I just want to say how thankful I am to everyone who has kept me so busy since I first started up Wagz & Trailz, this would not have been possible without you guys!🥰 Looking through my camera roll to find all these photos made me realise just how many new furry friends I’ve made this past year, 90% of the photos in my camera roll are your fur babies & it was almost impossible to pick my favourite snaps!🤭

I will miss doing this every day but I am also SO excited to start this new chapter & I can’t wait to see what 2025 brings for me & my career🙈 I can hand on heart say that I have enjoyed every second of Wagz & Trailz & I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to start it up🫶🏼

On that note, if I am ever free to lend a hand I always will! Whether it’s evening pop ins after I’ve finished work or weekend dog sits etc, as long as I can fit it in alongside my working hours without jam packing my schedule, I will do my best to help out!☺️ I am not planning on cancelling my insurance but I will keep you all informed & hopefully this won’t be the last time I’ll be posting on Wagz & Trailz🐾

My first walk with Fudge VS our last walk together today🐶

As most of you know, I’m due to start my venture back into the dog grooming world at the end of this month, so me & Fudge had our final walk together today🥲 I’ve walked him since he was 5months old & it’s been an absolute pleasure to watch him grow into the big boy he is today!! It’s bitter sweet, but I will definitely miss seeing this gorgeous face & being greeted with his kisses every week🥹

I hope you behave yourself as you did with me for your new walker & have many more fun adventures Fudge!🤭🥰

These two are the sweetest girls🥹 Fern is a bit shy when it comes to new people, but we built up a bond when I had pop ins with these two back in September, and I think it’s safe to say that she’s warmed up to me now! Looking forward to lots of cuddles🥰

Important announcement❗️🐾

To all my lovely clients & followers,

I have an exciting yet bitter sweet announcement to make!🫣
As most of you know, I first found my love & passion for working with dogs when I started working in a dog groomers as a bather at the age of 17🐶 Since then, I knew I wanted to be a professional dog groomer!✂️ Due to covid & other unfortunate circumstances, I moved to a different groomers where I was no longer being trained up to be a groomer, and this is where I started to lose all love and passion for the job.

I then took a leap of faith, left my job and started my own small business, Wagz & Trailz🐾 Its safe to say that I have absolutely loved every second of this new venture & I am so so thankful to everyone who has supported me & to all of my lovely clients🫶🏼

But recently I have been offered the opportunity to get back into dog grooming & finally get my qualifications & training!🥳 Ever since the offer, I have been trying to figure out a way that I could still keep my business going, whilst also doing my training. After many discussions & a whole lot of brain storming, I unfortunately have to make what has been one of the toughest decisions I have ever made. Unfortunately due to the hours I will be required to work to complete my training, the time I will need for my course work, and the fact I want to put all my effort & focus into getting my qualifications, it is not doable for me at this time to keep the business going alongside my training🥺 Although this is the last thing I wanted to do or even expected to happen when I started Wagz & Trailz in April this year, this is an opportunity that I feel I cannot turn down, as this is what I have wanted for the past 6years!🥰

This is not to say that this is the end of the line permanently for Wagz & Trailz, I just have to unfortunately place the business “on hold” until my training is completed and I can reassess my situation🐶 I am due to start my new job at the end of January of 2025, so any dog walking, pop ins or pet sitting appointments you have with me before then, are absolutely fine & will still be going ahead, but please feel free to message me if you have any questions!☺️

I have contacted & notified my regular clients & believe I have done the same for the people who are booked in for next year to make them aware of the situation, but if I have somehow missed you out, please pop me a message! I have taken the time to find other highly recommended dog walkers & pet sitters to recommend to all my lovely clients, so if I haven’t already passed these over to you, again just give me a message!☺️

Words cannot explain how much I will miss doing this & how much I will miss all my lovely furry friends, both regular & occasional🤎 Thank you all so much for your continued support & for keeping me so busy these past few months! & Please be aware that I do still have some availability left in November & December for dog walks, pop ins & pet sitting, and will be happy to lend anyone a hand one last time before I start my new venture in January!🥰

I just had to post this video of Coby🤭 On our way home after every walk, Coby will find a stick (sometimes the same one he hid on a previous walk) and spend the entire journey home looking for the PERFECT hiding spot🙈 I can’t help but giggle to myself watching him look at certain places and think “mmm, no not good enough” and carries on until he finds a better spot🤣🐶

Haven’t posted these two in a while🐶 They’re just the sweetest pair, look how polite Maggie drops the ball at my feet🥹 I pop in on Maggie & Togo for half an hour 3 times a week around midday to let them out, play & top up their water🐶 This is ideal for people who work long hours and don’t have time to pop back home themselves!🐾 They just get so excited when I walk through the door, it melts my heart!🥰 I have availability for regular or occasional pop ins & walks at the moment, so please feel free to get in contact for me details or if you have any enquiries☺️ Pop ins are not just limited to dogs, I am more than happy to pop in and check on any of your beloved animals & tailor my services to fit your needs!🫶🏼
