☀️Just one more sleep until our Annual Summer Show 2024!☀️

We've had an exceptionally busy week in the run up to our Summer Show - the show ground is now prepped and ready, we've had a wonderful response with pre entries, and we also have the addition of our Hobby Horse Ring for the first time ever!

In the run up to show day, we have some information to (hopefully!) help everyone enjoy a stress free day:

🏆Please use the postcode HU16 5SW to locate the showground - follow the directions to Cottingham Parks Golf and Leisure Club from Woodhill Way, off the A164 roundabout. The show ground is NOT at our yard itself.

🏆We will do our best to respond to, and update our social media channels, however, we will be exceptionally busy, so this may not be possible. In case of emergencies, please call Nikki directly on 07929 031318

🏆Parking for all horseboxes/trailers/accompanying parties is located in a separate field directly next to the show ground.

🏆Car parking for all cars/vans/dog show/spectators is located at the top end of the show ground, on the right hand sign as you turn towards Cottingham Parks.

🏆For those that have pre entered - please head to the Secretary Box (between the warm up ring, and SJ ring) to collect your number, and pay the £4.00 compulsory First Aid cover. Please ensure you have the correct change to hand.

🏆Our First Aid cover is provided by AlfaMed- Specialist Emergency Care & Training - paramedic led specialists who will be located visibly, next to the Secretary box

🏆We WILL be accepting entries on the day - cash only as we do not have a card facility, nor do we have access to check online bank transfer

🏆Our wonderful secretaries, Pat and Judy, will be taking all entries on the day. Please be patient and respectful during busy periods - we ensure you we will be doing our best to keep the day flowing!

🏆Both the Dog Ring, and Hobby Horse Ring, are enter on the day only. Entries for these can be made from 11am at the rings directly. £4.00 per entry

🏆Strictly no refunds on the day. We do understand, that inevitably, some classes may clash, but ask all competitors to be aware of this when booking their classes. We are happy to swop classes should this occur, but will not offer a refund for such occurrences.

🏆We have several food and drink vendors, and stalls, joining us for the day, such as Food 4 U Catering, Espresso Van-Gogh, Pompiere Pizza Co, Abigail Bakes, Green Tail Pet Products, Lundwold Equestrian Products, Ponytail creations, Mb Woodcrafts, The Clothes Collection Hub - Cottingham, Hunter Equine Therapy and more! Be sure to pop by to say 'hi' and check out these fabulous businesses!

🏆We don't have access to water on the show ground - please ensure you bring your own supply for you horses and dogs.

🏆Our judges, stewards, secretaries, staff and volunteers will be working extremely hard tomorrow to keep the day flowing, and to make it as enjoyable as possible. Please be kind, and respectful, towards them at all times. We will be stopping for short refreshment breaks between class championships to allow our judges and stewards time to grab a drink and a bite to eat.

🏆Most importantly, please remember to ENJOY the day! We are a local show, that has had the honour to grow over the years, into what we are today. But at the heart of everything we do, is the hope that we have created a wonderful day, for you all to enjoy! We hope you have a brilliant day, spent with friends and family, full of laughs, and with some brilliant memories made!

☀️How is it August already!? ☀️

We can't believe our Annual Summer Show 2024 is just 11 days away! The sun may not be shining today, but the rain is most welcome to keep our ground in tip top condition ahead of the big day!

Pre entries are starting to flow in via www.equoevents.com We highly recommend pre entering as not only does it save you £2.00 per entry, it also saves time at the secretary box on the day. Anyone who has been to our show before knows the secretary box gets very busy. Simply pre enter, then beat the queues on the day, to grab your number!
