Are you planning a walk in the countryside over the weekend?

Be careful of ticks! They mainly attach to animals, but sometimes may bite you or your family.

They can transmit microbes that cause infections such as Lyme disease - you can reduce the chance of tick bites by walking on clearly defined paths, using insect repellent and performing regular tick checks.

If you, a loved one or your pets get bitten, the safest way to remove a tick is by using a pair of fine-tipped tweezer or a tick removal tool. If you feel unwell or develop a rash following a tick, contact your GP or call NHS 111.

If you would like your dog exercised in a secure field with no other dogs. I know a great local business. Totally enclosed, secure and sole use. Perfect to fully exercise your dog safely off the lead. I can book 1/2 hour and 1 hour slots to take your dog. 💛👌🏻
