I have been surrounded by dogs my whole life, some reaching incredible years of 24 & 19. I am a dog mum to Teddy and Darcy. Teddy is a 2 a year old Cavapoochon. He's the little man I'm carry after a very long hike in the Brecon Beacons. Darcy is 1 a year old Cavapoo, she is a curly haired bundle of fun. Both dogs are family pets and love my twin boys. I retired from the British Army after 11 years

service, trained as a Medic. I felt lost in life and started taking my furry pals on longer walks. A mum friend of mine asked if I could take her big Rottweilers on regular walks to help fit around her busy working mum life. Then word go around and more people started asking. Like a light bulb moment I realised that this is what I needed and wanted to do. I love the outdoors, weather doesn't bother me and I love to explore with my furry pals. I've recently completed a Canine First Aid course., Dog Behaviour course, Canine Holistic Remedies training and Basic Grooming training. I am fully insured to take up to 6 dogs on group walks and have been DBS checked. In the near future I will have a mini van crated so that I can transport your dogs safely and comfortably.

Please ensure your dogs are appropriately dressed for the cold weather. Single fur layered dogs, especially small ones, should wear a coat/jacket as temperatures drop below zero to protect them from hypothermia during or after our walks.

It's essential to note that while most dogs may only experience hypothermia in cold temperatures, newborn puppies can suffer from it even in normal conditions. Small dogs, seniors, puppies, and those with short coats are at a higher risk of rapid body heat loss.

In addition to hypothermia concerns, winter elements like snow, ice, and windchill can affect your dog's paws. The mixture of snow, ice, and salt on pavements can cause dry or cracked paws, and de-icer residue may lead to chemical burns.

To ensure your dog's well-being:
- Check each paw for cracks on the paw pads.
- Examine paws for bleeding, lesions, or signs of infection if your dog is limping.
