➡Stomach Ulcers
💡Did you know stomach ulcers can show up in many different ways? Some horses lose weight or colic, while others can look fit and healthy but still be struggling.
👉 The horse in these photos looked in good condition but had become unhappy when tacking up and less willing to move forward under saddle. After ruling out back, lameness, and dental problems, a gastroscope revealed grade 2 squamous ulcers and grade 3 glandular lesions.
✨ With a month of treatment and a few simple changes to feeding and management, her ulcers healed completely! Even better—her rider says she feels like a different horse: relaxed, happy, and forward going.
💡 Small management tweaks and ongoing gastric support will now help keep her comfortable and reduce the risk of ulcers coming back.
