Update on Rocky, unfortunately his eye came open today and there appears to be a small infection in there 😢 so we’ve been to the vets had it cleaned, flushed and a stitch put in to keep it together.. antibiotics & pain relief and lots of love 🥺🩵🩵 poor boy he was so brave bless him 🐾

How can you help us?

We currently have got some volunteer vacancies

♥️ Fundraising vacancies
♥️ Fostering vacancies
♥️ Guinea pig courier vacancies

You would be added to a list of vacancies and when required we would get in contact and see if you are available to help

What does it take to become a fundraiser?

Maria kirkham raises funds for us doing bonusballs and raffles. There are lots of ways you can raise funds such as coffee mornings at home with your friends or selling cakes at work, sell items for us on Vinted or raffles. Every penny counts towards keeping the rescue going.

I am so grateful to anyone that is helping us and to anyone thinking about helping please just pop me a message. Even if it’s to put a donation box in your business place.

As you’re all aware we’ve recently moved and had no choice but to leave behind the shed we had. The existing shed was bought second hand and had had so many adaptions to it. There was no time to take the shed down and no where dry to store it before it could be rebuilt. This means that at the moment all guinea pigs that aren’t in foster are in my heated conservatory.. while this is working well for now I’m under a lot of pressure to start building the shed needed to house the guinea pigs before the warmer weather comes as it will be far too hot in the conservatory for them so ever penny we get is crucial, we need to raise £1000 and I’m really hoping we can manage or ultimately I won’t be able to house any rescue piggy’s at my home and it will completely limit the amount of piggy’s were able to help x

Behind the scenes today we’ve had 3 piggy’s go to their new forever homes! 🏠

Oliver the neutred male. He can’t yet go in with the lady’s but he’s living next to them while he waits out his last couple of weeks so he can get to see and smell them for when it comes to bonding 🥰🐾

We’ve also taken in two single males Rex & Shadow.. I will post their photos tomorrow we will be looking to try raise some money towards their neuters by doing a bonus ball so keep your eyes peeled for that you could win yourself some cash 💸

It’s always busy behind the scenes wether it’s messaging people, cleaning out, doing washing, feeding or nail trimming there’s always lots to be done 😂😂

Tomorrows task it to try and arrange our piggy room abit better to make better use of our space so that means cage building 🙈 my favourite task… not 😅

They are both just over a year old. They need someone that can give them allot of time and love ❤️

Christmas came early for these piggys! A new bunk bed to try out. I think jeff loves it, he even gave richard a swift side kick there to keep him away 🙈 naughty boy!

Hahaha worst live I’ve ever done 😅 I just want to note that I don’t keep my child in that cage she puts herself in there 🙈😂 our rooms abit of a mess too those are the last few boxes from moving also.. congratulations to number 4

Strawberry & snowflake have now found their forever home and I’m absolutely over the moon ☺️🥰🍓❄️

We don’t do rabbits as a rule but if it’s a life threatening instance I will always do what I can. So we got her vaccinated and spayed and she found her forever home with the most wonderful Bun mum 😊🩷🐰 I just love getting videos and photos of all the animals we’ve helped. And it’s all thanks to you guys supporting us! We love you all! 🩷 xx
