We are Street Walks, a new pet service in Kirkcaldy.
Why are we different?
- There are no playing fields or parks
- We only walk dogs from one household*
- We use the area you stay in to create enrichment for your dog, so no travel
Now we are not saying that pack-walks or letting dogs run around fields isn’t good, we just offer a different type of service.
Urban dog walking is good for a number of reasons
- It can help de-sensitise your dog to loud noises
- It creates a different kind of enrichment as there is more to sniff (lamposts, hedges, pavements)
- More attention from the dog-walker
- It can help get them used to people and roads
Do you have a large breed dog and struggle to find people to walk it? Look no further, we have experience of different dog types including big (strong) dogs.
Our pricing is set regardless of the size of dog you have.
We are insured, basic disclosure checked and first aid trained.
As well as dog walks we also offer puppy walks and pet checks.
*we will walk dogs from family/friends houses together but we will only collect from one location and maximum dogs is 3.
