He has produced elite and premium offspring in both the UK and the USA alongside medal winners in Southern Ireland!
2024 seen his first foals born in The Netherlands and more are expected in Belgium in 2025.

He is equally as useful as a sire for refining heavier type natives as he is to add size and presence to smaller riding ponies and welshes whilst being the ideal cross on proven performance horse mares to produce the ultimate 148!!

He has excellent quality semen with a super pregnancy success rate.

Having been hugely popular in 2024 we have now opened Bentleys 2025 diary…
We will offer early bird discount to anyone booking before 30th December 2024 to use him in 2025 to help us work his competition diary as well as his stud diary!!

This exciting true 15.2 6yr old homozygous black stallion licensed with SPSS and also gold premium graded with them whilst being licensed and Premium Graded also with SHBGB achieving an overall impressive 9 is showing that he is passing his great temperament, good work ethic and impressive talent into his youngstock the oldest of which are just being started under saddle!

Having had a quiet 2024 due to stud demand he will be campaigned both BD and BS over the winter with the hope that he will BE in the spring if we can manage his diary appropriately.
His free movement and huge bold scopey jump are key assets alongside his perfect size making him suitable for both horses and ponies alongside pros and amateurs alike!

His offspring have many successful outing in hand as young horses taking RHS wins alongside other county level shows.
Gaining BEF gold premiums with impressive scores and comments alongside impressive marks on 9.25 for conformation!
In 2023 our own filly foal by him was the 3rd highest placed foal withSHBGB throughout all their uk assessments.

Diary open for 2025 bookings for this exciting young coloured Premium Graded SHBGB stallion who himself is by the well
known stallion Co Pilot.
Starting to compete under saddle and proving his versatility both in the dressage arena and jumping.
He has lovely expressive movement with a big careful jumping technique whilst having already been RHS sports horse champion himself as a young horse has now proven youngsters following in his footsteps with several having big wins across the uk!

By popular demand the lovely talented “Glenmore Fear Donn” is staying with us in the uk for another season and WILL be available again in 2025 🦄

Glenmore Fear Donn
Striking, athletic 14.2, N/N HWSD, connemara stallion by the legendary “Templebready Fear Bui” out of the mare “City West Swansong” who herself was by the famous sire “I Love You Melody”

“Ferdi” is extremely well related amoungst the stars his late sire sired are “Langstone VB” who evented upto 3* level and part bred “Templebready Fear Not” who won the HOYS small Hunter championship twice!

On his dams side the “I Love You Melody” line really needs no introduction in the amount of performance ponies it has produced include 20 JA ponies.

“Ferdi” himself has movement, jump and most importantly the nature to match his talent.
Easy going and gentle to be around he has been busy with stud duties in Ireland where he has produced lovely pure bred connemaras alongside some exceptional part breds although these are mainly still too young to be under saddle his oldest pure bred the 6yr old "Cool Infinity" was 3rd in the Junior Equitation at Dublin horse show in 2024 whilst some part breds by him out of warmblood mares have excitingly been exported to America!

If your looking to produce an eventer with real grit and ride ability for pros and amateurs alike, top class show horses or your next best friend he is the ideal cross for both horses and ponies.

Harris of Mendick is a mouse dun Highland Pony stallion.

Harris has proven to be an exceptional pony with his many achievements in the show ring over the years. He has had an amazing show ring career and competed at County level Shows gaining many championships as well as The Royal Highland Show, Olympia, Blair, the Highland Pony Bred Show, NPS championships, Royal International and Horse Of The Year Show to name a few.
Following being Champion ridden Highland pony at the Royal Highland Show he had the opportunity to be presented with a special silver medal by HRH Princess Anne on the occasion of the opening of the Highland Pony Society headquarters at Aberuthven.

Harris is tractable, he always giving his best and the atmosphere even at evening performances never bothers him, he really is a kind gentle pony who has passed his exceptional nature onto his current offspring.

He will be available both naturally and also by fresh and chilled AI anywhere in the uk

£400 + vat Available on a NFNF term (stud fee payable on positive heartbeat scan)

We respectfully ask that as all stallions are CEM and EVA tested that all mares are too.

All mares coming on site to the stud must be fully vaccinated for flu and tetanus.

A long busy day at The Scottish Smallholder Festival today with our “native boys”,
Glenmore Fear Donn and Harris of Mendick.
I couldn’t be more pleased with how both boys soaked up the busy atmosphere (stallions what stallions??! was the amazement of everyone who met them today they were so well behaved!) and they enjoyed doing their displays whilst spending hours interacting with lots of public!!
A good day out and lots of networking done with lots of lovely people!

We're back!!

First time out competing for a substantial period of time for these 2 handsome boys, Fenston Bentely and Harris of Mendick.
Both performed well, if a little rusty, to pull in strong tests at the wonderfully friendly Ian Stark Equestrian Centre .
Bentley won both his classes and Harris was 4th in good company.

Enjoying the late evening sun in the beautiful countryside we call home.
Tonight was a chance for two stallions, Fenston Bentley and Harris of Mendick, to go out togwther for a leisurely hack and a couple of open canters because it would be rude not to.

Stud season might be over but the boys are now getting ready for a winters competing and riding. We started some gymnastics work with Freckleton Untouchable, aka Austen, on Sunday and he loved it.

Our lovely 2024 filly “Fenston Oriana” (shamazing/Serano gold/painted black) will be available at weaning. This exceptional girl has it all with the potential to go to the top showing/dressage/jumping… She will make easily 16.2 plus and could be one of the nicest lightweight hunters to come on the circuit should you be interested in showing. She is super friendly with a laid back nature. Will be shown this summer and attend the futurity so will have had outing and some life experience as well as being very well handled come weaning.
