Hiya everyone , I hope you are all well , I am back off holiday and I know a lot of you have messaged or called me to book in an appointment. When I got back yesterday I was given the devastating news that my nana has passed away so I am heartbroken at the moment and not my normal self , all messages and calls will be replied to as soon as I can but will be slower than usual as I need time to process everything and spend time with my family , I apologise if your appointments have been asked to be rearranged or will be asked to be rearranged but I do not want to groom your babies if my head isn’t 100% focused because they deserve nothing less than to make it the happiest experience for them which I do every appointment . I’m sorry for any inconvenience and I hope you all understand 🩷🩷

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ‼️‼️‼️

Hiya everyone , I’m sorry for the long post but there is some very important information on here and i would really appreciate it if you can take the time to read it 🩷

NO SHOWS/LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS‼️ I understand that sometimes things pop up and happen which means you can’t come to your appointment but please send me a message to let me know or try and at least give me 24 hours notice so that I can fill the slot. If you don’t show to your appointment or cancel last minute I then don’t have enough time to refill that slot so therefore I lose my income. I am a small business and this is my only income and I too have bills to pay so please give me as much notice as possible or just send a text letting me know you can’t attend.

VACCINATIONS‼️ All pets who enter my salon must be vaccinated up to date or I will refuse to groom your pet. This is purely because I will not risk your pets health or my other customers pets health. Please do not book your pet in unless they are vaccinated as I will always put the pets welfare first.

TEETH CLEANING PRICES‼️ I have had a few disrespectful comments regarding my teeth cleaning prices costing a bit more than a couple of other salons. As with every business there will always be someone more expensive and someone cheaper , I am going to explain why I charge £20-£25 for treatment and £15-£20 for maintenance and why it takes a few sessions and not just one. I charge these prices as I buy top of the range dental products for your pets (tooth paste , gels , their own brush head so that it is an sanitary as possible etc) the consultation session is on average 1h long and each other session is 30m long , I take my time on your pets to ensure they are comfortable , relaxed and get used to the feeling of the brush being in their mouth. Why does it take so many sessions ? If tartar and plaque is scraped off of the teeth before it is soft enough to it may remove the enamel , cause grooves in the teeth , damage and make gums bleed, create sensitivity , loosen the tooth, and can make build up on teeth appear faster. This is why I require a few sessions to gently soften the tartar so that it then flicks off easy causing no pain or damage. As you all know I will always put your pets needs first. The average cost of my treatment sessions is approximately £190 which will prevent having a costly veterinary procedure on your pets teeth.

MATTING‼️‼️ I do not de-Matt, if your pet is matted they will be shaved off as it is cruel and also against the law for me to brush it out. I will always choose humanity over vanity. The hair will grow back and then can be maintained with regular sessions . There is an extra charge for matting as it takes longer to shave off . If your pet is matted DO NOT WET THEM this will make the matting tighter . Matting is very painful and can cause bruising, can cause layers of skin to die and can also split areas such as ears as the blood can’t circulate properly . Please let me know if your pet is matted before booking in so I can allocate extra time .

AGGRESSION‼️ please let me know if your pet is aggressive prior to booking in, this is so I know what they don’t like and I can adjust the groom to their needs. Failure to tell me is dangerous for both of us (if your pet hates the sounds of clippers and I don’t know and they try to bite them they could cut themselves, if I get bitten this could potentially stop me working until I’m healed which will then lose me my income.

FLEAS‼️ please make sure flea treatment is up to date and no fleas are present prior to your appointment.

Please do not come to collect your pet before I call or wait outside my salon. This will distract your dog, make them hyper which will make them harder to groom and is dangerous if you suddenly knock on the door whilst I am using sharp equipment.

🌟The categories for our friendly, light hearted, just for fun, dog show have been chosen and are now all confirmed!🌟

🕦The dog show will start at 12:30pm next Sunday 24th March as part of our Pups in the Park 2024 event at Williamson Park in Lancaster.🕦

🐕We are taking 20 entries for each category

There will be a rosette and prize for 1st🥇, 2nd🥈 and 3rd🥉 place in each of the 10 categories.

🏅The winner of each category will be asked to return at 1.45pm to be entered for Best in Show.🏅

The cost of each entry will be £2 which must be paid when signing up to secure your place.
BOOKING IS NOW OPEN!!!

Message Events by All Occasions on facebook and state the category/categories you would like to sign up for and we will get back to you with booking/payment details.

*Any places not filled by 12.30pm on Saturday 23rd March can be booked and paid for on the day but we cannot guarantee there will be places left so please sign up ASAP to avoid disappointment.
