Pets Friends Veterinary Clinic
COVID-19 Statement. Updated 07/01/21
Due to the current situation with coronavirus, we are trying to reduce the level of clients that we have direct contact with. It is likely that we will need to postpone some non-urgent procedures/treatments depending in current guidelines. This may change at short notice. Currently we aim to honour existing bookings, but will be delaying some routine appointments for at least the rest of this month.
Only one person may attend the practice with your pet and we ask that if the waiting room is occupied, that you wait outside or in your car until the waiting room is free – please phone us to let us know that you have arrived. Try to limit close contact with other people in the waiting room, reception desk or consulting room as far as possible.
Please use the hand sanitiser provided at the reception desk. Please wear a mask when in the surgery unless you have an exemption card.
If you are showing any symptoms of Covid-19 or have been in recent contact with someone showing symptoms, please don’t come to the practice, but phone us for advice if your pet needs attention.
If you have been advised to limit social contact to protect yourself from coronavirus and need help, medication or advice for you pet, please phone us and we’ll try to help.
If we encounter staffing problems due to Covid-19, we may have to further cut back our service to you temporarily. There is a distinct possibility that we may have to close for at least 14 days at short notice at some stage in the future and if this is the case we may be able to offer telephone advice. If we do have to close, currently we can only advise that you may have to contact other local practices to see if they can offer you help.
Please phone our usual number (01324 570501) for further information in the event that we are closed.
We thank you for your understanding. David and all at Pets Friends Vets
