🎉 And just like that, 2024 comes to an end 🎉

If anyone would have said to me that I'd end 2024 owning a pet shop, I'd have probably thought you were losing your marbles. 😵‍💫 I think my friend Mick did actually think I WAS losing my marbles when I put the idea of a pet shop to him 🤪
But here we are, smashing it!

We’re so excited for what this new year will bring and can’t wait to continue bringing joy to your furry, finned & featherd friends.

As we step into 2025, we want to thank all our amazing family & friends for supporting us on our crazy adventure and our customers for your incredible support since we opened our doors to our brand new pet shop, in October. Your enthusiasm and loyalty have made our first few months such a fantastic success, and we couldn’t be more grateful!

🐾 Protect Your Pup whilst having fun in the snow! ❄️

Did you know that snow and ice can stick to your dog's fur and paws, causing discomfort, cracking, and even pain? 🐶 Ice balls can form between their paw pads and in their fur, making winter walks uncomfortable for your furry friend. 🐾

But here’s the good news: with a little extra care, you can keep them happy and safe!

🌟 Tips for Snowy Walks:

🧴Apply paw balm before heading out to act as a barrier against snow and salt.

✂️Trim the fur between their paw pads to prevent ice buildup.

👐 Rub a small amount of paw balm in your hands to warm it up and gently stroke over your dogs coat to help prevent snow sticking.

🚿Remove snowballs safely: Use lukewarm water to gently melt the snowballs, or massage the area with your hands until the ice softens. Never pull or tug, as it can cause pain or damage their fur.

🫧🧺After walks, rinse and pat dry their paws to remove any salt, ice, or debris.

🧴A quick reapplication of paw balm can help soothe and moisturise their skin.

Keep your pup comfortable and pain-free all winter long! 🐕❄️

Freestyling it, making some curtains for our next EXCITING CHAPTER! Bamboo's Bakehouse has a new home where you'll not only be able to grab your favourite bakes & natural treats for dogs, but for all pets & wildlife too! Oh & not only food, but handcrafted woodwork, trinkets, gifts, cards, treats, homeware & so much more, all centred around pets, wildlife & nature. Stay tuned folks 😆

These delicious dog biscuits will be heading to Beth's Bakesx tomorrow, plus there'll also be some for Morley Market on Saturday too. Remember, Morley Market is dog friendly, so bring your pooch with you on Saturday so they can pick their own treats.

Not only are these sweet pawtato & peamutt butter biscuits delicious & crunchy, but they're a great source of fibre combined with antioxidants, Vitamin A, C & K too! Winner winner 🏆

Elvis, his siblings, his mum & stepdad all had a pawsome time meeting up for their 1st birthday 🎂 This was a special custom cake, created to suit the customers requirements. The Bakehouse is currently closed whilst I chill at my caravan & is fully booked for personalised orders for the rest of July & August ( I am having a little break in between too ☀️ 🚐) So if you have a Gotcha Day or birthday from September onwards, please message for more details. 🐶🎂🍰🐾
