Well it's been an interesting week to say the least. Along with earning very little, I've done more wheelspinning than Colin McRae, acquired chilblains (again) and, surprisingly, hit the deck only once (no lasting damage other than to my pride).

Not exactly looking forward to the impending slush and mud, but I've just about had enough of ice now.

In all seriousness I want to thank all my ace dogs and lovely customers. My first full year as a dog walker/boarder has been muddy, cold, occasionally too warm, at times stressful but ultimately the best decision I've ever made. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🐶🎄🎆

🎄 🐶 A catch up from the last few weeks. So far only one dog has relieved themselves on the Christmas Tree (that I know of), so I'd say that's a success.

📢 some group walk spaces have very recently become available, so please get in touch if you have a well socialised pooch who'd benefit from joining a pack and getting plenty of exercise. Preferred locations would be or but I can be flexible. Please feel free to share.

I'm fully insured and DBS checked. I'm also a licenced home boarder, too.

📸 Updates from last week. I was happy to welcome Hugo back after he had two weeks off recovering from the snip. Safe to say he was VERY excited to be back.

In a previous life I would have been hoping for a snow day tomorrow but things have changed. Let's hope it's not too bad so I can get the dogs out ☃️

Updates from the last few weeks. From giant Newfypoos to Miniature Schnauzers, autumn is upon us - which is fabulous for pictures but, unfortunately, terrible for camouflaging dog sh*t. Have a great weekend, all! 🐶🍂

Update from last week, including appearances from Henry & Sid who we boarded at the weekend along with Wallace the Westie. Cosmo the Sproodle joined us for only his second group walk, and Herman the miniature schnauzer will be with us every day for the next few weeks. 'Lively' just about sums it up!

First post since returning from Majorca last week. Sadly the weather has meant the transition wasn't a comfortable one. At least the dogs have cheered me up!

Friday updates are back. I welcomed Debi (7th photo in) the Serbian rescue to the pack this week - she took it in her stride and will be a lovely addition to my Tuesday and Wednesday walks.

Blue the black lab goes home tomorrow after 11 nights with us. He's a solo-boarder given his nervousness around other dogs but has been a joy to have.

Special mention to Lester the Miniature Dachshund attempting takeoff whilst being cheered on by his aunty Penny.

I'm on holiday next week but updates will resume w/c 23rd Sep. Have a lovely weekend 🐕

Our time in Scotland looking after Ruby, Ted and Blue was absolutely wonderful. I felt genuinely very sad leaving them, especially considering it might be the last time we see Ruby. It's always a pleasure to be surrounded by open space and greenery - even if the weather was slightly damp, to put it mildly.

Rounding off a good week which started by saying goodbye to boarder Gus, and finished with a trip up to Scotland to look after Ruby, Ted and Blue. It's cold and wet up here but I'm trying (and failing) not to get too upset about it.

Boarding Ted, Penny and Wallace has been a joy this past week. I'm in the process of asking their respective owners to coordinate all future holidays.

I'm ending the week with Covid which isn't ideal. At least my fever means I'm not overheating like everyone else - silver linings.

Although I've got a few newbies joining my pack next week, I still have some spaces to welcome new group walk dogs. Feel free to get in touch or share my details with any owners you may know.

This Friday post is dedicated to Raine (1st pic) who turned 13 yesterday. Still full of beans and obsessed with trying to eat cat s**t. We all have our vices.

We said goodbye to Casper having boarded him for 11 nights. An absolute handful but we loved having him.
