Some nice play behaviour from our newest recruit
🐾 Kimchi is our most recent recruit! She is 1 years old and finds being around other dogs very exciting! She is settling into group life really well and I loved this little video I captured today of her playing with spaniel Monty. It’s super easy for young dogs to get overstimulated and overexcited and not know how to regulate themselves when playing, I always step in and call away when I can see it’s getting too much, but here, Kimchi recognises the pause in play, shakes it off and turns to me for her reward. A super example of her reading the play well ❤️🐶
🐾 Beatrix was sooo happy to have her friend Laszlo back on walks ❤️🐶🐾
🐾 Elfi ❤️Today was Elfi’s last walk with us before she unfortunately moves out of area. I will miss this fun, bubbly girl lots and I know her pals will miss her too! Taking her to be part of her owners special day is one of my favourite memories since I started the business ☺️ Good luck in your new home Elfi and family! X 🐾
🐾 This is how we do our posing ❤️ Aren’t they fab at it?? 🐶🐾
🐾I don’t often post videos on here but, it always put a smile on my face how much Zeb LOVES this game! 😂❤️🐾
🎉 Happy New Year everyone 🎉 Here’s a look back at our 2023 ❤️ looking forward to more adventures this year! 🐶🐾
🐾 Some fun on the moors today! 🐾
🐾 Join me for an orientation game! 🐾
🐶 These are great for keeping focus and being part of the fun on your dogs walk! You can see they all love it, especially Zeb! I think it’s his favourite game! Most of these guys follow the treats really well even if they’re thrown far but I tailor it for each dog 😊 If they find it harder to follow treats I make it easier ❤️
🐾 Little video for today! Look at these focused, lovely, happy dogs I walk! This wasn’t asked for, they just thought they’d come hang out and see if I had anything fun for them (of course I did!).
This is the aim for all my dogs - wanting to hang out with me which helps so much with focus. All dogs are different and some dogs struggle with focus in certain situations and that’s ok! Ted is a perfect example of a focused dog one minute and squirrel distracted the next. But we always work on it and play games to make sure they see me as a fun part of the walk too 😊❤️🐶🐾
Back to normal tomorrow so heres a 2022 recap! So many lovely dog walks, cat visits and more ❤️ I love my job so much and can’t thank you all enough for letting me take care of your wonderful pets!
🐾 Can you tell who is used to playing these games with me and who isn’t? 😂😂❤️🐾
🐾 Haven’t posted a video in a while so here’s my first group having a blast!
Love this little play session. Laszlo’s first Tuesday walk with the big boys and he had a great time! I also love that Dexter chose to come check in with me at the end. Thats a big difference from when he first starting walking with me and was all focused on play! ❤️
🐾 Love this video of play between Dexter and Oz I took today! Even though it may look rough at the beginning, this is respectful play. You can see them go back and forth with each other, taking breaks to make sure the other still wants to play and switching being the chaser/chasee too. Dexter boy you have come along way 🥰🐶🐾
🐾 Here’s a cute little video I took today of Laszlo and Ted! I find it’s super good to take it slow with pups and introduce them to one dog before groups so they can get used to being around other dogs but also listening to me at the same time, rather than listening just to the group dogs.
Here i was working on touch with both of them so they learnt to listen to me when there’s another dog interacting with me too and also learning to wait their turn and keep focussed on me when I’m doing something with another dog too.
Laszlo did super well and I was so pleased he got on with Ted so well too! Super puppy!😁❤️🐶🐾
🐾 Guess who got to have some offlead time today? Dexter! And guess who was such a super good boy? Yep, Dexter! It was so quiet at the bottom of the chevin, no other people or dogs so I thought he could have a little freedom. And he loved it! Lots of zooming and some playing and lots of listening too. I’m so proud of how good he was and Ollie and Lola were super too of course 😁 We had lead time too so a good mixture ❤️🐶🐾
🐾 Ahhh this made me smile today! Archie boy doesn’t normally join in the playing (he’s too mature nowadays!) but he was obviously feeling the fun today and had a little play with Coco and Teddy. These guys were one of my original groups when I first started and it’s so lovely that they enjoy each other’s company so much 🥰🐶🐾
🐾 I loved seeing this today! Molly generally likes to do her own thing and, other than a quick sniff, doesn’t interact with the other dogs that much. But, she’s taken a shine to little Louie over the last few walks and she had a proper little play with him today which was lovely to see 😁 Louie is very respectful of her space which I think is why she trusts him to play nicely with her ❤️🐾
🐾 We had a special guest on our first walk this morning! Leyenda joined the zoomie boys, Zeb and Teddy at Calverley woods. She loved running round with the boys and getting in on their wrestling games 😂 They were all super! ❤️🐾
