Well what a day……

12 hours ago the flood siren 🚨sounded ( this is nothing new round here 😂)

We rushed to get the flood gate up, whacked the sand bags out and battened down the hatches. I didn’t think that 12 hours later I would be vaxing the water out of the carpets…..

We had evacuation animals around 2 hours later where 13 animals went over to Riverview Reptiles as the animal room started to flood. The missus and mother rushed to get the Glass vivs up stairs, and I am currently sharing a bedroom with 4 cats as the flood took over the whole of downstairs 🙄 luckily I believe we have saved 90% of things but may possibly need to replace a few vivs.

Anyway Liam is over and out and hopefully will Finish everything off after the missus, typical tam and I have had a well deserved sleep.

And just like that another year comes to an end… what a year 2023 has been! We saw the 1st January in with a bang attending a party unaware that in 3 weeks we would move into the same village and animal room 4.0 would begin! It wasn’t just furniture, kids and us to move but also the 150,000 animals as the missus would say 🙄 before we knew it it was February and 2 new additions joined the mad house Cleo and LJ the tiniest cats who have settled in amazingly!
When March hit I had built an unhealthy obsession with board games and spent a lot of my spare time finding the next exciting game for us to play. March didn’t leave without us playing a few tricks on typical Tam leaving her with a lot of grey hairs 😂 we also gained Colin the chameleon such an amazing grumpy old man!
April saw our first hosting of Easter for Typical Tam and the kids, the missus went all out with an egg hunt and decorated the house Easter themed (very instagramtastic) and the ferrets gave birth to 10 naked teaspoon sized things 🥹😂
In May came my 21st Birthday with a round the world fancy dress party, yes I was Nonna (an Italian grandma) but I could never match the real Gangster of the family 😂👵 and I got the most amazing present ever! June was quite a quiet month with bash and buttercup entering our home until a crow decided to fall down the chimney what a disaster that was! I also made an appearance on Get In the van with our very own Paolo (Daddy Ferret) amazing experience and I’m so grateful for that opportunity 🥰
We went to Crocodiles of the world 🐊 in July it was the most amazing gift ever getting to feed real crocodiles! We even got a child free weekend this month to attend the missus’ friends wedding💒 lovely day that was. We also saw an influx of leopard geckos in July who have fitted into our life perfectly 🥰 As the summer came to an end we took a family camping trip for a few nights to unwind before the children returned to school… it was lovely to have a few nights away but I would of rather spent it with my animals whilst the rest of the tribe disappeared and gave me a break 😂🙏 obviously we wasn’t going to get through 2023 without the dreaded covid hitting us. September was bleak but we had Indie join our family, she’s the most loving loyal dog 🐶 October hit and so did our first flood… we rushed around buying flood gates and sandbags. Luckily, nothing was damaged and all was well. November was quiet in the zoo until we had rescue a cat who was entering a school and wouldn’t leave, Michael had took himself on a big adventure but luckily we found his owner who had missed him terribly and Michael was reunited with his brother Jackson 🥰 December is always a crazy month but I don’t know who’s idea it was for us to host Christmas 🤔🙄😂 absolutely manic it was but we had an amazing time, the missus as usual was stressed but did a bloody amazing job of Christmas dinner 🥘 I also developed an even bigger healthy obsession with fish and shrimps! The missus is about ready to flip her lid but nothing a glass of wine won’t solve 😘 she will get over self one day 🙏😂 we thought our year was closing nicely until we experienced flooding again just yesterday which did enter the house but luckily we got away with no damage. The last few days we also took on 2 new amazing cats Boo and Blue, the most laid back little girls I’ve ever met ( I had finish the year as I started).

As the year draws to close I want to take the time to thank each and every one of you for your support, kindness and help this year:l. We couldn’t do what we do without all of you. It’s been an amazing year here at Lords Exotics and I’m sure the next one will be bigger and better 💥

Hi there 🙋🏽 it’s just us at Lords Exotics HQ, we are back and better than ever!!

So Day in the life of owning, working and loving animals… Season 2 Day 1

Let me start off by telling you that today we had to collect Typical Tam from home for a fun filled morning of sorting the animals and having a tidy up… she was only 40 minutes late back home after the School run! Now most parents run away from the School gates, I know I do it myself but not typical Tam she loves a chin wag to anyone who will give her the time of day… 40 minutes! I am a Lord I don’t wait for anyone. She treated us to breakfast at the famous Tooley's Cafe And Catering Company (big up Leah) banging breakfast! I was explaining to Tam and the misses we have been invited to go to India with a friend when Typical Tam pipes up saying how it’s dangerous because her friend went there. Upon asking Tam were abouts in India she replied Nigeria…. 😂😂😂🫣 is this woman for real?! NIGERIA 😂😂 Tooleys definitely set her up well for a day of absolute stupidity… we all have Typical Tam moments don’t we 🤔😂 we had a lovely afternoon sorting the animals out and making sure everyone’s okay and Tam was surprisingly well behaved… That was until it was time to go to fetch the children from School…. She had purchased some cat biscuits, now bare in
Mind before we reach the next bit that tonight we were having dinner at her house so we were going there anyway, she removed the cat biscuits from the car because her cats needed feeding on the School run?! Now either I’m stupid or this was another Typical Tam moment but how is she feeding her cats whilst she’s on School run when they are indoor cats?!
Another Typical Tam moment happened at dinner time.. she only went and washed the child’s phone and smashed all the screen! He’s had it 3 weeks!! 3 weeks! How do you not realise you’ve put a phone in the washing machine 🧐🫣 absolute madness… lovely bit of money down the drain.

Not much to report after that, we needed a good nights sleep after a day with Typical Tam (hence why this has been posted a little late)
