Full Stretch Canine Massage

Full Stretch Canine Massage Gemma Dorman is the proud owner of Full Stretch Canine Massage, providing sports and remedial massage therapy for your dog

Canine massage is an excellent way to resolve soft tissue injuries along with helping to support orthopaedic and even some neurological conditions. Muscular inuries in dogs can be expensive to diagnose and they can have a detrimental effect on your dog’s mobility, temperament and quality of life. How often have you felt achy, tightness in your muscles or even pain, it is exactly the same for your

dog. Through my training I am able to help your dog by reducing tightness and tension in the muscles, break down scar tissue, alleviate painful knots and ensure muscles are all working equally and in unison. As a Canine Massage Therapist I will use my extensive knowledge of dogs’ anatomy to pinpoint which muscles are affected both by the primary injury and the areas of overcompensation. So whether your dog is a much loved pet, takes part in any dog sport or is just showing signs of getting old, Canine Massage Therapy can ensure they are in the best muscular health possible.

If you haven't already read our article on puppy exercise and growth plates, you can read it here: http://puppyculture.com/appropriate-exercise.html

Whilst running through the mud and leaves is great fun for dogs at this time of year. Slipping injuries are very common.

These types of muscular injuries often cause intermittent forelimb lameness. Which can't be identified on x rays or mri scans.

I appear to have lost my works phone. I suspect it's been buried somewhere in my mums garden by her dog, I can still be contacted by phone calls as the calls are diverted but I am unable to receive any texts. Normal service will be restored as soon as aforementioned dog decides to recover his stolen goods.
