This morning's dog walk for Yuki & Ted. It's not often I get dog walks but I jumped at the chance to take out Yuki & Ted as they live near my old stomping ground so a much overdue visit to Lilford Park was had.

How long before a massive cat fight starts on my knee! Harley was here first & Bentley decided he needed to be on my knee aswell. Harley likes her personal space, Bentley still doesn't understand this after 8yr. Send help!! 😳

This is such a sad story and one well worth remembering when getting a pet cat. Neutering prevents unwanted kittens which many rescue centres simply don't have the capacity to take and poor Mum cats that suffer such as this one sadly did.

I’m truly awful at the ‘remembering to do marketing’ bit of my business, which is why I’m quite proud that I finally got around to designing a flyer.

Back from this week's house sit in Wigan, a bit of a decompress with a hazelnut mocha 🌰 ☕️🍫 home to my cats for much missed cuddles then a 2wk pet sit starting later today along with another couple of sits which will run alongside. Busy is an understatement!
I do love a house sit & it's rewarding to have great feedback from clients but there's nothing like your own home. 🏡

As many of you know I've two rescue cats. This is Bentley, a 12yr old semi-feral I got at 18 months. Over the years, because he's become more cuddly with me, I forgot how difficult he is to catch & when I try he regresses back to his semi-feral days.
He hurt his back leg & so a trip to the vets for a check up is in order, however, 9hr with a cat trap baited, him shut in the kitchen & the vets on standby, Bentley hasn't played ball.
Everyone wish me luck for Tuesday when I try again. I wish he could understand it's for his own good. He's been under house arrest for a week & he'll probably be staying in much more from now on. 🥺🐾🐈

Bentley is under house arrest after I returned home yesterday & he was limping. Think he's pulled something as there's no marks on him & he's got full range of movement. A bit of rest in his new bed & I'm sure he'll be fine.
He's more accepting of it with the bed which was kindly given by a work colleague at the day job whose dog didn't fit in it. 🥰🐈🐾

Hebden Tea 'Dragon Wing White' tea. Wanting to start drinking green tea for it's health benefits but not a fan of the flavour, this tea is lovely & not as bitter as many. Today I bought the tea, a reusable tea bag & a pretty caddy from The Replenishery one of my favourite shops in Leigh.
