Where has the sunshine gone? Rainy day on Tuesday but the mood was lightened by the arrival of Bertie. All the dogs were Happy and played/snoozed together. Ted and Nellie were joined by Ozzy and being Retrievers they loved the puddles. Yogi and Willow bumped into Ruby, Bertie and Digby. All behaved impeccably. Ted. As you can see he was less than impressed with the rain but we wandered along the Shawl and had a great time. enjoying life.

All change Monday. We said a big hello to Ted and Nellie. The larger than life Retriever duo. Then the once Too Shy Daphne came for her first day care. It was great to see how far she has come. Daphne and the others got on so well. Mr WWT took Yogi and Willow out for some fresh air and sunshine and of course, Ruby. Whilst loving the outdoors, one wonders if she prefers peanut

Every day this weekend had a Sunny Afternoon. All the dogs loved being outside. Whether just lazing about in the garden, enjoying short walks (far too hot) or having a dip in the river. Even parents of humans enjoyed getting out and about up Penhill. What a weekend at

Paws up....Who loves the sun? When it becomes hot the dogs laze about, chilling out. They don't need much walking. We welcomed Chester and Lola for the weekend. They really love our cold kitchen floor. Ruby didn't do much and Hetton sat in the sun looking handsome. River action was provided by Clover and she hopped over the stepping stones with aplomb. A very happy Friday and a happy weekend to you all.

We were walking on sunshine today. What a day in the Dales. We welcomed Amber back today. Her and Ruby rub along well. Lui fancied a close up and Ted fancied a lie down in the cool grass. Alfie came out to wander on The Shawl Bentley and Skye went for another swim to cool down. What a day with

A warm day for the dogs to enjoy becoming wet wet wet. Down by the river Finn, Lui and Bess dove straight in. What a trio of strong swimmers. Bentley decided to relax too much and then he and Skye found the River Cover too enticing. Then, time for some R & R in the garden. I wonder if Lui could smell cake?

Warmer days mean lovely walks. Ted decided to rest in the long grass. Hetton lay down in the garden to enjoy the sun. We welcomed Finn for a sleep over whilst Ruby and Bess pottled about. Then an evening visit to Bentley and Skye. They are all curled up asleep now resting. Maybe tomorrow will be sunny too.....☀️

A bank holiday weekend mix up. A fun time walking, meeting friends, long term and new and horse type stuff too. Now that May is here everything's gone or is going green. Wonderful. Hetton relaxed while Clover and Bess ran around like loonies. We were joined by Grace (all the way from that London) on her first trip to the Dales. Paul and Claire with Harvey and Tilly joined us for a view laden Ivy Scar walk. Meanwhile, Ms WWT rode Peggy to victory in a dressage competition. Phew....it never stops here 😘

It's been such a busy weekend. This post is from Friday!
Yogi, Willow, Hetton, Bess, Ruby and Daphne. A real mix of temperaments. From racing about to chilling out. From young to old and those in between. One of these days us humans might learn a thing or two about living life to the full. This lot certainly do ❤️

Today was a day of meeting friends. Mrs WWT came across Molly, Willow, Yogi and Digby when out with Dora and Ruby. Mr WWT spent some valuable time with Archie. He fills the boot and is very gentle. Hetton decided he'd spend a lot of time wandering today. Down to the green, around the garden and managed a Jump when his food was on the way. Bentley and Skye went home this evening but will be back next week.this week is building up to be a busy one.

The first Mr Blue Sky in a while. And.... shorts for the first time this year 😳. Hetton was out and about loving the fresh air. Bentley, Skye and Ruby were down by the river but as there were so many lambs and ground nesters about leads were the order of the day. Responsible walking on sunny days here

back in the groove. Lovely walks out with Dora, Molly and Ruby starting the day. Bentley and Skye went out later and as usual sticks were carried. When you've been away enjoying beaches, mountains, forest and sunshine it's sometimes hard to come back to what you know. But, back we are, in gorgeous Wensleydale. We welcomed Hetton, Skye and Bentley yesterday evening. Hetton is a grand old gent and loves cuddles. Bentley and Skye need no introduction. Such great friends now. Skye has certainly made herself at home 😁. back to business as usual

Tuenesday. A mix of forgetting phones and poor weather limited the pics. In no particular order we have Willow and Yogi, Ozzy and Benji, Skye and Bentley and Ruby and Dora. Ted .... Your pics are coming! No sign of fine weather yet so all they all remain rain dogs....for now.

Today was definitely not a blue Monday. In fact, the sun came out. Dora and Ruby began the day and met friends on the way. Mr WWT took charge of Yogi and Willow and then it was a team effort with Archie, Bentley and Skye. Bentley and his sticks ...... Never fails to raise a smile.

It was a family affair this weekend. The dogs loved all the cooking that was going on. Plenty of cuddles to go around. Me thinks Bentley got carried away. All the dogs loved being out too. Archie, Bentley, Skye, Ruby and Clover were simply good fun all weekend.

Yesterday was all about Evie. A day of warm and wet. Evie had her last walk with us. She's a lovely and gentle soul. Ruby and Archie spent time with Miss WWT whilst Mr WWT took a very bouncy Clover out and about.

From the first time we adopted Ruby to today. From Whaley Bridge to West Witton. From her first ever trip to a beach and swimming in the river. From her friends of the past to walks in Wensleydale. Life is great with Ruby in it. Happy 12th birthday gorgeous pooch. ♥️

Ted was walked first on Tuesday. He was all wrapped up. Evie went for a stroll and we had Nora and Nellie for the day. Mr WWT took charge of Yogi and Willow and walked them up near the hill. A full on day.

A day of Changes. We welcomed Archie for his first sleep over. What a lovely lad. We said a fond farewell to Wattie and Abby. What are we going to do? Both such enormous characters. Molly and Ruby walked out and through puddles and Mrs WWT spent happy time with Evie. And we haven't forgotten Daphne.....
