Play time at Puppy Club this morning!
Little Hondo the Patterjack loves being given a job to do or a trick to show off! We’ve been using these skills during his one to one sessions to help him feel a bit more at ease around potential triggers for reactivity.
September in full swing and summer holidays are just a memory….wishful thinking that she was throwing tennis balls not pebbles
My ‘yes!’ in the middle of this video is quite embarrassing but I was very happy! During this group session, we worked on calmness when passing dogs and other distractions. This is particularly tricky for these two litter mates who just want to play when they spot each other from a distance! Their owners were using the full tool box of skills that we’ve learnt to help the brothers walk around each other with full focus on their humans. Very proud!
Lovely Rudy showing off some wonderful impulse control and concentration, using nothing but force free methods.
Taking homework on holiday! I love it! Barney has enjoyed learning the ‘Nose to Hand’ touch so much that it’s now become a great recall technique. Finding what your dog loves to do is the key to training success. Well done, Barney!
Buddy and his owners have really been putting the work in to tackle his lead pulling and just look how it’s paid off!
Get me making videos! If you’ve done some training before with your dog and would like to learn more whilst helping them to socialise, this is the course for you.
