Horses cost you your ego.
Right when you think you have it figured out, you will undoubtedly be presented with a humbling experience either in the arena or out.
They will force you to reach out for help when your expertise is maxed out.
If you are wise, you will realize life is like this too.
Maybe we should reach out for help more frequently and we would get further. 🫶🏻

The black sheep usually doesn't follow the crowd because every once in a while, the crowd is literally going the wrong way in mass. It takes a black sheep to stand out and say, 'Hey, I think we're headed off a cliff here!' They may be labeled as outcasts or rebels, but in reality, they're the ones who are brave enough to challenge the status quo and forge their own path.
Let's celebrate the black sheep in our lives - the ones who inspire us to think differently, to question the norms, and to embrace our individuality.

All the horses in our equine therapy program are on their second career… after being riding horses originally. It’s so good for them to still have a purpose as they grow old.. or after long term injuries ❤️

Please don’t try to fix me.
Don’t take on my pain or push away my shadows.
Just sit beside me as I work through my own inner storms.
Be the steady hand I can reach for as I find my way.
My pain is mine to carry, my battles mine to face. But your presence reminds me I’m not alone in this vast, sometimes frightening world.
It’s a quiet reminder that I am worthy of love, even when I feel broken.
So, in those dark hours when I lose my way, will you just be here?
Not as a rescuer, but as a companion. Hold my hand until the dawn arrives, helping me remember my strength.
