A very happy Remy today, back close to his friends. A month of stable rest was a long time for Rem but with bandages, boot and his own paddock, Remy can continue his recovery where he will be happiest ❤️😊

🌟 Winter Fun at Alt-Ed Lincs! 🌟
Today, our SEN learners experienced pure excitement as they played on the ice in a stunning winter wonderland. ❄️ Surrounded by idyllic scenery, they participated in a lively horse therapy session. 🐴✨ The crisp air added an extra layer of magic to the day.

Day 1 of HAF and a chilly one! We found the best place to warm cold hands was burying them in the ponies’ thick warm Winter coat and mane 😊

Remy is missing his bestie, Hamilton, as he is having to stay in a stable for two weeks at our Arena yard whilst he recovers from an injury to his leg. We had to call the emergency vet out to Remy this weekend but hopefully stable rest, medications and dressings should see him right. Remy is one of our RSPCA rescue ponies and has been really brave about his ordeal although we suspect he would much rather spend Christmas in the paddocks with his friends ❤️

!!!UPDATE- Please bear with us- we have had many messages today from our regulars saying they cannot get a space as we were fully booked within an hour. We will make sure we include as many young people as possible so if you are on the waiting list we will do our best to get you a place. Unfortunately this means that those who have booked every day may not get all the days they want. We are trying to make it as fair as possible 😊CHRISTMAS HAF IS NEARLY HERE- VOUCHERS ARE IN SCHOOL FROM TOMORROW!!! What a perfect snowy day to start thinking about Christmas. Come and join our activity days at Jacob’s Den CIC at APS Livery, Branston Booths. Please note that we can only accept HAF vouchers from SEND children (children with special educational needs and disabilities). We do have some sessions outside of HAF for all children. Teamwork and communication skills were needed for the Halloween games today- especially the ‘blindfold’ obstacles with partners guiding the way. We mostly had fair play, except for Princess who ‘cheated’ by knocking the bucket over in the celery bobbing to make the job easier 🤣

Good news- Woody is much better!! He has had a full MOT, blood tests all clear, heart good- his ‘mound’ remains a complete mystery to the vets and, before they took the next step to scan it- it has gone ❤️ Back to his old self again with his friends. Hopefully he will stay that way 🤞😊

Princess is so happy now. Tiny Nox had been her paddock buddy for a month and just wasn’t tall enough to reach Princess’s scratchy spots on her neck and withers no matter how hard she stretched, so we have put Princess with baby Gee who is a lot bigger. The first photo shows the success 🤣. In Saturday’s session, Woody was feeling a lot better and didn’t want to miss out this weekend 😊
