Rango was adopted roughly 3 years ago and has had to come back to us due to previous adopters circumstances changing. Absolutely no fault of Rango or his previous adopter. We are grateful to them for giving him such a lovely home for the past few years.

This handsome older boy is looking for an aviary home only with plenty of space and friends to spend his days with.

Strictly no indoor homes unfortunately as Lucky is most definitely not tame and will stress if he doesn’t have space away from humans.

Toxic immobility seems to have been forgotten about as I’m seeing multiple photos posted on Facebook of bunnies being held ‘laid’ upside down in photos 😔 please never hold a bunny in a position that places their head lower than their heart.

Tonic immobility (TI), commonly known as "trancing" or "hypnotizing" a rabbit, forces the animal into an inverted dorsal position that causes heavy abdominal contents to compress the diaphragm and compress vital internal organs.

Rather than being a state of relaxation, this position triggers a severe, fear-induced evolutionary survival mechanism ("playing dead") that puts significant structural and physiological strain on the rabbit's body.

We all love our bunnies, and while they can look very cosy being held on their backs we need to remember the risks involved in this.
There are many ways a bunny can be groomed, nails trimmed, etc without needing to do this thankfully!🥰

Apollo & Flopsy joined us last night due to absolutely no fault of their own or their owner.
We are taking adoption applications now, but they won’t be able to move anywhere for a minimum of 2 weeks❤️
