A video from a little while back of a little hoggy on a special diet due to loose stools x
It's Sunday, make sure you treat yourself to something nice ♥️
We are SO proud of Ostrich for the progress he has made during his time with us so far.
From that little underweight, shut down boy to the funny, confident cheeky little man he is now ♥️♥️
Little Henry having a sniff around from the safety of his cosy cube 🥰
Quick nibble before we release our Dunnock! It's not all bad news❤️
This little one is taking a while to learn I'm not mum anymore!
She's now in a soft release aviary learning to be a wild bird again before she can be released. Hopefully within the next few weeks she will learn how to 'bird' 🥰
This little Robin came in on the 17th July, and is finally getting the hang of feeding himself😍🥰
For this one bird;
So far we have spent £12 on live food, not including the live food we have bred ourselves and used.
He's now moving onto eating seeds too.
His insects and seeds have been dusted with Nutrobal, which costs us £8.50 a tub, though does last got a fair few birds at a time.
Within 9 days we've spent roughly £20 on one baby bird.
Due to the vet bills we have for the domestic animals with us, we use our own money to pay for any food, bedding, etc. Even most the set ups have come out of my own bank account.
The point of this post isn't to complain (we love what we do!!) but to raise a little more awareness on how much is really costs to rehab.
Some of the birds we see need antibiotics and pain relief which can only be prescribed by a vet, as you can imagine this isn't cheap either.
I know money is tight for all of us right now, but I'd like to ask that if you bring an animal to us, that you please consider donating IF you're in a position to do so. Even £1 or a 20p will make a big difference.
Thank you to those who have donated food or money towards our animals recently. You have no idea just how much you are helping us and the little ones in our care. ❤️
This is always such a bittersweet moment for us, but we cannot wait to release this little one and see him flying around in the wild where he should be ❤️❤️
We have an amazon wishlist that you can purchase things for us on if you'd like to;

If you'd like to donate directly to our vet bills, please call Rase Veterinary Centre - Lincoln, Newark Road and quote the Client ID: 95035
Again, thank you. Your support means everything. X
Beacon Bunny Rescue your girl let me stroke her today 😭😭🥰
Some of our residents loving a sand bath in the sunshine yesterday
This noisy little monkey is a young starling we are raising.
This little one was handed into LincVet and they contacted us to take him in. The shocking thing about this one is that the finder said they found him in a plastic bag!!
We are really hoping he put himself in there as opposed to someone being incredibly cruel, but I have a bad feeling that there was someone involved in this.
He's a little dehydrated (as he would be, living in a bag in this heat!!), but is making excellent progress. We have everything crossed for him.
Some of our residents enjoy baths more than others. Keep watching to see 2 ferals & a collared dove loving the sunshine and a good soak x
Bath time 🥰
Please excuse the pigeon poo. Believe it or not it's cleaned regularly - They're poo machines!!!

I thought you guys would enjoy seeing Pigsy relaxing & snoozing in the sun today🥰
Someone is a little too enthusiastic about taking his pain relief! His forever family must be out there somewhere 🥰
He's back from neutering and went straight back to eating!
Will post his adoption form shortly 🥰Xx
