Just to let everyone know I will not have any litters for a while. Most of the gang have been neutered and bonded. Mr T has moved into a new area with Dorothy and Sophie and Rex, winston and basil will be neutered over the next coming months. Inspection today passed by my vet and 13 vaccines done. New plans to build a enclosure for albus and for the boys being neutered they have some girls waiting to be bonded with. ######

Update
Lots have been happening since I last posted. Annie’s babies have all gone to their new homes. Big thanks to you all for giving them a home. Dot aka basil lol has left mum now too and is currently living in his own hutch. Arlo’s friend dolly now has a new friend since his passing called Otto and Otto is booked for neutering next week. Pumpkin and Oscar have bonded too and so has Annie and dexter. Shed all cleaned today and spare blocks of hutches moved out into storage. All set for the winter although it’s sunshine here today so they all out in the garden. Thank you to you all for your continued support especially your Laura. Even though I have ceased breeding for a while I know you only a message away. ###

Today saw me have to say goodbye to my main boy Arlo. Arlo and Dolly is where Caroline’s mini lops began and sadly I have lost my special boy and dolly has lost her best friend. Don’t worry arlo I will look after your dolly for you. We will miss you so very much and what makes it harder is that I wasn’t there to say goodbye. I am glad you had someone with you who loved u as much as me. Thanks to Katie Flower for being there for my boy. I am forever grateful ###
Meet Dot. This little one was born the day after Annie delivered her litter. I haven’t posted much on here about her as I wasn’t sure if she would survive as she was the runt of the litter. She is such a tiny thing hence the name but having had a check up with Hannah the vet today she is actually doing ok. Just smaller than her siblings and with being the runt of the litter has just taken a little longer to thrive. But she is doing well and is going to be staying here with me and will be bonded with a neutered buck at some point in the future. Welcome to the family Dot and a choc tort just like her mummy xx
Last little bunny has now been reserved. It’s been a tough old year but I am thankful for all the experiences I have gone through as lots of wisdom has been gained. Thanks to you all for your support and for all the loving homes. Thank you to my fab vet team. It’s not the end of Caroline’s mini lops just gonna take a few months off and refocus next year and if I decide to keep going then it will be very limited litters but for now it’s rest time for the gang and to enjoy time out in the garden. Oscar wasn’t eating and wouldn’t take the food through a syringe. Sorry to Megan the nurse who has been trying to get him to eat and Oscar had other ideas. Took him some forage bits up and went to see him. On leaving him he had had a good amount of forage that I took him up. It was so nice to see him eating. Come on now Oscar we need to get you home ###
My boy Oscar aka boscar as my grandson calls him was neutered Tuesday. All went well but sadly at breakfast time today I noticed he wasn’t well at all. He is now with Sophie at the vet hospital and I have everything crossed that he comes home. How much more bad luck can I have. Come on boscar you can beat this stasis I know you can. You have pumpkin waiting for you so u have to fight this and come home ###x
Will do other three buns tomorrow as Annie was in the middle of feeding. Dexter and Oscar are going to be neutered tomorrow so fingers crossed all goes well for my boys ###

It is with a heavy heart that I write this but I have decided that I will be having no more litters this year and not sure when I will resume. Over the last year I have nearly lost Dorothy and Mavis and Annie has had such a tough time with her litters. It is heartbreaking the losses but then so rewarding but I feel it is the right time for me. All the gang will stay with me some being neutered and spayed and there is always the possibility of restarting again next year if I feel like it. But for now once Annie’s litter have gone to their forever homes there will be no more litters planned. For now I want to thank each and every one of you for all your support including my amazing vet team and Laura French. Thank you to you all who have given one of my bunnies a great home. I will be keeping my page going and will post updates of the gang enjoying their summer and who knows I may be back but for now it’s a big thank you to you all ###

This morning I woke to find a baby in the litter tray. Little bit cold but still moving. What I have only just realised is that that baby was born today and Annie had one final surprise for me. Just gone to check them and noticed actually the one I warmed up now makes four. Well done Annie xx
As many of you know last few months have been tough and Annie lost her second litter. Today after a long 31 days I woke to three babies all tucked up in a fab nest. I haven’t posted on here before because I wasn’t sure how it would end. I wanted some good news and this morning when I got up for my shift at 5am I was greeted by a lovely sight. All three babies tucked up nicely. Well done Annie and Oscar ###
Waited a long time for a mantle. meet Wilma everyone coming to us from a great friend Martha Wilkinson. I have spent the last few weeks contemplating giving up but so many of you including my amazing vet team have given me words of encouragement to keep going. Everything that has happened over the last month has made me realise I need to continue doing what I love the most and that is being a great bun mum to my gang. You cost me a fortune both in time and money but you are my gang and I am proud and love you all. ###
As many of you know I sadly lost my nephew Connor on Monday in a road traffic collision at the age of 22. Connor always looked out for herbs and veg for the bunnies that were reduced and got me them if he saw them. Today after going to the shop I have been going in for over ten years and never noticed the reduced section there was a full box of herbs and veg that my bunnies love. I think Connor was trying to let me know that he is still around helping me find them. Thank you Connor I take comfort in knowing you still looking out for me and the gang. Fly high big fella ###

Just to update you all Mavis had to go back to the vet hospital last night as she wouldnt eat and I was having to syringe feed her. Big thanks to Celia and Hannah at the vet hospital as well as Sophie who stayed late when she wasn’t on shift to make sure Mavis was ok. My girl is now eating and doing loads better. Come on Mavis you got this ### we couldn’t do it without them all could we Mavis. I think we have the best vet team ever don’t you Mavis ###
Sadly Mavis went into labour this morning and unfortunately a kit got stuck. With hard work from the vet hospital she managed to deliver two kits which were born sleeping. The third kit didn’t make it either and Mavis has had to undergo an emergency section to remove the third kit. I am absolutely gutted for her and she has now been spayed. It really isn’t easy doing this and certainly won’t make anyone rich if done properly. Mavis is a much loved member of our family and will now retire here and I will hopefully bond her with a neutered buck In the near future. I am considering ending Caroline’s mini lops as I can’t go through this again it’s heartbreaking. Going to pick her up shortly and bring her home for some much deserved tlc ###x
Thank you for all your messages and comments following us losing little mo. You really are all very kind. Been to do breakfasts today and with Almas last babies leaving yesterday the shed is far too quiet even with them all getting excited for their breakfast. Annie seemed well this morning and wanted me to sit with her and give fuss. Got all crossed for miss Mavis who is due in a couple of weeks time. I know there are many rewards for when it goes ok but when it doesn’t it’s always like losing your first litter it doesn’t get any easier. ###
It is with a heavy heart that I write this. This morning Annie gave birth on what would be my mums birthday. We therefore named her surviving baby little mo. Tonight on checks I found little mo had passed away. Not sure what happened whether the heat pad was just not enough and he really needed the heat from his sibling. I really wanted this little one to survive it was like me mum had sent him our way on her birthday. Absolutely heartbroken to have lost you little mo. Maybe my mum wanted him back so over to you mum look after little mo for Annie and me won’t you ###
Annie kindled her babies this morning on what would have been my mums birthday. Maybe she was waiting for today for me. Sadly one was born sleeping but we have one little singleton tucked up and we have everything crossed all goes ok. Heat pad is on and Annie has pulled lots of fur to keep the little one warm. Over to you now Annie ### well done Rex who has become a daddy for the first time x
Decided to line the cages with new Lino this afternoon. Thank you for mr flower for your help although I think he was little bit shocked when he came back from cooking tea to find out I had done one by myself and done the wooden frame around it too. Also update as promised our oldest member of the gang Rodney went to the vets today and he unfortunately has arthritis of his neck and hips. Been looked after by the amazing team at the vet hospital once again thanks to Hannah. Pain medication as a starting point then see how he goes. Annie hasn’t had her babies yet but I can see lots of moving so hoping it’s tonight xx
Day 30 for Annie. Hopefully babies tonight or tomorrow morning. Got everything crossed that it goes ok this time. Good luck Annie xx
