Great walk with Ted until my lace snapped, fun walking back up the hill with a shoe that didn’t want to stay on my foot 😂 I would have tried to tie the lace back together but someone (🙄) decided to run off with it, drop it in a field and lose it 😅😂 thanks Ted!

Casually walking with a pumpkin 🎃 😂 nice walk up to wittering with the boys and dropping a pumpkin off at the farm for the pigs en route.

Also love how Dagda smiles when I pick him up 😁

Dagda thought all his stars aligned when he first saw me carrying the pumpkin, I think he thought I’d bought him extra big treats 🤣

Perfect bit of training with the boys today, focussed initially on recalls and heelwork as soon as leads came off (big trigger to run riot is leads coming off) then finished off playing around with some tricks. Dagda especially just loves learning new tricks (and the treats that come along with it 😂🐷)

Superb recalls today, really starting to trust that they’ll follow where I go, much more sniffing is allowed and today they were allowed to ‘hunt the hedgerow’ so we could practice recalls when they are more ‘in the zone’

A lovey alternative to the traditional game of fetch…. Repetitive ball throwing and chasing can have negative effects on your dogs joints, it can also very easily become an obsessive game which causes dogs to totally blow their thresholds. This is a lovely alternative which not only brings your dog the enjoyment of fetch but also engages their brains (practicing waits and eye contact before releasing) and noses as they hunt for the ball. I for one absolute love watching dogs hunt and search for their toys!
