- **Monday, April 7th:** Closed for a little rest.
- **Tuesday, April 8th:** Join us for **Time2Move**! 🕘 9am-1pm or 🕧 12:30pm-4:30pm. Only £45 per session! Free for children with FSM codes (book via Active Cornwall). Enjoy pony care, a pony ride, cooking lessons, arts & crafts, and lunch included! 🍽️
- **Wednesday, April 9th:** It’s **Own A Pony Day**! 🐎 Choose your favorite pony and spend an unforgettable day from 10am-4pm for just £55!
- **Thursday, April 10th:** Another chance for **Time2Move**!
- **Friday, April 11th:** All-day pony club with a jumping lesson! 🦄 10am-4pm for £55.
- **Saturday & Sunday, April 12th & 13th:** Open as usual! Join us for pony club, lessons, hacks, and more!

For just **£45**, you and your friends can dive into a world of pony care, where you’ll get to:

Good evening everyone,

We hope this message finds you well! We wanted to take a moment to share some exciting updates from us here at Great Trethew Stables.

**Meet Our New Friends!**
We are thrilled to introduce three wonderful additions to our stables:

- **Elvis**: Our charming 15hh cob has already captured the hearts of many! A gentle giant, Elvis comes to us with a history as a cart horse, and his previous owner is eagerly following his new adventures here.

- **Marley and Elsa**: These two lovely ponies arrived together from East Boldon Riding School, where they spent several years. Marley, a 14.2hh piebald cob, is still finding her footing but is settling in beautifully each week. Meanwhile, the adorable palomino, **Elsa**, stands at just 11.1hh and is a natural with the younger children, having previously participated in birthday parties and lessons.

**Jackson's Journey**
We wanted to update you on Jackson. Did you know he has been blind in his left eye for years? In January, he underwent surgery to remove that eye, and after a month of healing, he is now starting his journey back into work with us, gradually building his strength day by day.

**Heidi's Recovery**
Our beloved Queen of the yard, Heidi, has been dealing with acute laminitis for the past six weeks. The children have been showering her with love, grooming, and cuddles while she recovers in her stable.

**Looking Ahead**
As we anticipate brighter weather and longer evenings, we are excited to kick off our after-school clubs and private lessons. If you're interested in participating, please let us know so we can plan accordingly!

**Important Updates on Pricing**
With the upcoming national wage increase in April, we have made the difficult decision to adjust some of our session prices. These changes will be reflected on our website in the first week of March. Notably, our weekend/holiday kids club will see an increase of £5, bringing the cost for 10am to 4pm sessions to £55.

**Member Discounts**
For all children registered on our website, we consider you part of our family! We are excited to announce a new members discount of £5 off each kids club session, available until the end of April as a token of our appreciation.

**Kids Club Enhancements**
Our Kids Club will also be undergoing some changes. While the session times will remain the same, the length of riding sessions will be adjusted, and details can be found on our website. We will also introduce a one-hour stable management session for those staying all day. Each month, we will focus on a specific topic from the ABRS, and participants who complete the tasks will receive a rosette and certificate!

🌟 What an incredible and action-packed week we had during February Half Term! 🎉 From sunrise to sunset, it was a non-stop adventure filled with laughter, learning, and unforgettable moments.

Despite the gloomy weather that rolled in by the week's end, our spirits remained high! Together, we soldiered on like a true team of warriors, proving that it's not just about sunshine but the brilliance that shines from within us all! 🌧️💪

A heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every one of you for your unwavering support. 🙌 But let’s not forget the real heroes of the week – our amazing volunteers, staff and ponies! 🤗 Your dedication and hard work made this week possible and filled our days with joy.

🌟✨ Halfway through the February Half Term and we’re loving every minute of it! 🐎❤️ It’s been an incredible week so far!

🚴‍♂️ On Monday, we headed up onto the moors for two amazing rides that took our breath away! Talk about a great way to start the week!

🐴 Tuesday was filled with excitement at our Own A Pony day and our bustling kids club, where laughter echoed all around!

🎉 And guess what? It’s still Own A Pony day today—our adventurers are having the time of their lives!

💖 We're thrilled to introduce our new stars—Elvis, Elsa, and Marley! They’re settling in beautifully and melting hearts all around the stables!

💚 What is Alternative Provision? Our AP offers a calming and personalized educational experience that blends therapeutic support with learning. It’s built to cater to individual needs, fostering an environment where students can explore their potential without the pressures of conventional classrooms.
🐴 Our Innovative Approach Picture this: students not only learn but connect with nature through equine-assisted sessions! By caring for our beautiful horses and the surrounding land, they’ll not only cultivate practical skills but also boost their confidence and emotional resilience. When: Tuesdays and Thursdays (two days a week)
Who: Tailored for young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) but open to others as well!
