UPDATE-SAFELY BACK HOME

Hi not sure if this is a house cat it's just been nearly hit twice within the space of 5 mins the first car stopped and the second although we waved it to slow down didn't take notice and the cat missed the wheels by inches then ran into a near by house front garden I know you can't really train a cat to have road sense but the speed some drivers go down roads is so dangerous, please be more aware it would have been so upsetting to see it get hit green lane area

Hello, my name is Sindy! I was one of the kittens posted in the video last week - my owners dumped me out in the garden when they moved house, and me and my sisters were left to fend for ourselves. I am a super friendly, energetic and cheeky little girl...but it seems that I'm still unwanted, because there's no home on the horizon for me. I know it's partly due to my colour, too.

UPDATE- Reunited! A kind family had taken her in until they could find the owners which they did because of posters and the Bubble. Thanks everyone.

Please send Bella home! It appears that a well meaning lady in the Victoria Road area collected Bella in a cat carrier on Friday . Last seen walking past the Freshfield pub with the carrier. Bella is a well-cared for, much loved pet and her family are worried. If you know someone who may have taken Bella to care for her or have met someone who has just taken in this affectionate little cat, please ring 07979434011. She needs to go home.

WE NEED YOUR HELP ! PLEASE ?

Our vet bills are always huge but we have taken an extraordinary amount of stray and injured cats this year.

We pride ourselves in our work but it really isn't sustainable without your help.

We have received our vet bill from ONE of our vets today... we work with 3.

£2777 for one month !

We don't rush off to the vets but sadly a lot of the cats we are called to are stray or elderly.

An older cat normally needs a dental... these are between 150 and 500! Bloods tests are usually advised on older cats and these inevitably lead to other issues needing addressing. Each spay is around 60 and neuter 40 ( at our cheapest vet) we no longer get supplemented ( albeit minimally) by central CPL so this is also taking its toll.

The number of cats bring abandoned or signed over is unprecedented. People are understandably struggling so seem to be turning to non recommended brands of flea and worm treatment ..if at all... this means they come to us with fleas which can lead to other problems ie anaemia.

A lot of our cats are suffering from stress related conditions ie skin issues or digestive problems. Each vet visit for these just for consult is around £50. They can have to go 3 , 4 times on average. Then we change them to better food and probiotics incurring more cost.

We know this when we take the cats on. Poor Julie Brandon must tear her hair out trying to keep us afloat.

We work closely with other rescues but some of them request that we only pass fully rehomeable cats which means we pay neuter, flea worm etc.

3 cats went to rescue this week at a cost of over £300 to our group. This is not a criticism ...its fact.

We have to do this... release the homeables to rescue centres so that we can focus on what we set up to do. .. street cats.

Times are really crap atm... please if everyone can donate even £1 the difference it would make wouldbe the difference between sink and swim..

Vet bills are the tip of the iceberg !

Many fosterers buy their own food and litter to help out which we are eternally grateful for.

Please help us...just while I'm typing this I can see the requests for help coming through.

Our time is given willingly , our love is given freely, our experience is given happily. Sadly we have to pay for everything else and we are on our knees.

Please can you help with anything however small. ?
