HAPPY UPDATE!!!
Teddy has been found, yayyyy! He was on Eshe Road, very scared and frightened. Fortunately his uncle came to help my friend in the search and once Teddy heard his voice he ran to him.
My friend has asked me to thank all you lovely, kind people who went looking for him; messaged sightings; sent good luck messages; phoned her and just generally gave your time to help find him and get him home!
Thank you all so much. We are very touched by your kindness, and very relieved! xx

Dear Crosby Bubble:
MISSING DOG - I'm looking for some help please. My friend was walking her friend's dog round Lunt yesterday when he suddenly disappeared, just took off. She searched the whole area for 4 hours, till it went dark, without success. She said people have been lovely and were calling her with sightings but he'd run off again. The last sighting of him was during the night when she got a call to say he'd been spotted at Broom's Cross at the top of Moor Lane, but when she got there he was nowhere to be seen. She resumed her search at 7:30 this morning and has been out searching all day and has only just got home but sadly he's still missing. She's spoken to several people today who have seen him round the Chesterfield Road area so she knows he's no longer in Lunt.
As you can imagine she is absolutely distraught and worried sick about him being on his own in this cold weather.
If anyone has seen him, or knows of anyone who has given him shelter, could you please let me know. She's called all the local vets and Freshfield rescue. She can't get through to the RSPCA or the Police.
Here's a photo of him. He's a three year old black spaniel, wearing a red collar, called Teddy. He's very nervous so if you see him could you offer him a treat, he'll come to you for that.
Hoping and praying we find him soon.
If found PLEASE CALL THE OWNER ON 07557 760107
Thank you
