💙📚So our licensed Stallion Angus went off to school just 3 weeks ago to a friend who has taken the time to start him under saddle for us.
He is now happily hacking out and will return home next week so we can continue hacking over winter and taking things slowly.

This is what our friend Joanna Lowes Horse Training had to say..

“Angus is proving to be one of the sweetest gents I’ve had. He’s happily hacking already….My intern Tess has done a lot of the training and riding with him and has done a lovely job, he is responsive to ride and will pass a mare on a hack, he parks beautifully by a block for mounting AND dismounting, and is generally just a sweetheart, even Eva my 15yo helper has had a little ride and he was perfect. We’re all in love 😍”

We look forward to having him home next week.🫶🏻

To all our farmers heading down to London today, and all our farmers having to stay behind to milk, to feed calves, to tend to their flocks and pigs - to do what they do every single day.

To those who own their farms, and to those that rent their farms. To those who have enjoyed a lifetime working their land and building a resilient business that the next generation are excited to take on. To those that are just starting out and battling to make ends meet. To those who have invested heavily in getting their farms future proofed. To those who probably should be slowing down a bit, but can't. To those who love their way of life, and those that are questioning their way of life. To those who are struggling to know what to do next. To those who are terrified of what might come next.

To those who work so hard to feed our nation, take care of our beautiful countryside and pass on your knowledge, work ethic and lifestyle to the next generation.

Know that we stand right behind you. The whole bloody country does.

War Horse

Can you imagine how they felt, when taken from the field,
To stand before the cannon fire, and never have to yield,
To pull the heavy carriage across the muddied ground,
And to witness all the carnage, and slaughter all around.

It was not for them the choice to make, those horses of the war,
They had to charge the battlements, and the ‘deaths head’ evil roar,
They stood their ground majestically, and never bent their head,
And when they died, as die they did, no calming word was said.

They came from field and farmland, from pulling cart and plough,
To meet their death in mud and blood, they took no ‘loyal vow’,
But without their strength in battle, and the sacrifice they gave,
Many English soldiers, would have met an early grave.

So silent in your majesty, so noble in your death,
So many of you fell for us, and gave of your last breath,
And in your life’s last sacrifice, against war’s abhorrent force,
We pray for you and thank you, England’s mightiest – ‘War Horse’

Our baby Duke (now 7yo, Percheron x Oldenburg) is on full duty with the Metropolitan Mounted Police in London and one of his recent jobs was leading the es**rt of West Ham football fans to Tottenham.⚽️🏟️

We’ve promised Bella a trip to see him before Christmas🎄
As part of Dukes sale we agreed that we are able to visit him when we like and when he retires he will return home to us ♥️

Daddy was away car racing and left us girls alone for the weekend so we trotted off innocently to the pony sales, no intentions of buying anything🤓
