Long post so I do apologise!

Due to a huge influx of owners wanting help with their XL bully types and breeds/crosses that could potentially be considered "type", I would like to make two recommendations.

No one knows what this legislation will look like, please try not to panic (easier said than done!), but it is highly likely it will follow Pits as they are mixed and not a recognised breed, this is often done based on measurements. There is a wonderful group called: https://www.facebook.com/SaveOurSeizedDogs who have a whole heap of experience with BSL this may well be a good place to start for information and advice. Many have been through the BSL system and can advise how to approach and prepare.

What's important is to be pro-active NOW ❤

Many have reached out to me for training but being a single person operation I cannot help everyone, so... I would like to personally recommend GR Dog Training. They are highly experienced with large bull breeds and have a fantastic team at their disposal ❤ They are single handedly the only trainers I can recommend. They have helped me with my rescues in the past; they are welfare forward, proven results, years of experience, non-judgemental and won't simply slap a temporary plaster on an issue.

As I said; the key right now is not to panic, be pro-active! ❤ 🐾

It’s clear that the overgrown pug (Sunak) isn’t in touch with the real world. A ban has proven ineffective for many many years, considering how many pit bulls are around.

These dogs are super powerful breed and should NOT be taken lightly. They require a phenomenal amount of research and training. Realistic expectations have to be taken and measures put in place.

We’re urging you to get as much training in as you possibly can to give you the best chance possible when/if the ban does come into effect. Whether it’s with us or other trainers who can give you results, there’s never been a more urgent time to get it done.

We’ve worked with these breeds for a long time, so if you need help - please, MESSAGE US.

I am now back taking new bookings/clients again 🥳 Things have settled down with our surprise baby boy after he decided to surprise us even further by arriving early 😬🥰

Hi everyone 👋

I'm sure you saw this coming... looking at the weather forecast for tomorrow, Thursday and Friday unfortunately I will be canceling all walks including forestry walks for those booked in as I have had to do Yesterday and today...the temperature is high and there is little to no breeze.

I am more than happy to change your booking to a "check in" (this is a 30min time slot) if you are not home. Or if you'd rather we can cancel all together and go back to normal next week. Drop me a message with what you would like to do either way 😊 If you do wish to cancel this week all together there is no charge.

I'm all for nice weather but burnt paws and/or heat stroke isn't worth the risk.

Massive shout out to one of my regulars this week! 😍This marvelous little rescue lady who is very very close to my heart did an absolutely superb job out on her walk today 🐾

Here she is acknowledging another dog passing but showing zero reaction and keeping all focus on me and moving forward ❤

Just goes to show that with lots of work being done by her fantastic family and good, structure training walks... major improvements can be made 💪💖

Shes like a different dog to the nervous, lead pulling, dog/bird/cat reactive little lady I first started walking 💖

Also a big thank you to GR Dog Training who have been a fab source of support in her training ❤
