Last jumping session of 2021 for all 3 boys.
It's nice to have a play round a course and they all certainly enjoyed themselves.

Today I had a ride on my daughters horse Bo. I've not sat on him since my daughter bought him over 18mths ago. He has come on so much and Lindsey has done a good job producing him. Today allowed me to give her exercise ideas that I feel would help benefit him and to help her work towards aiming him for Novice tests.

A great weekend with Fuggle and Usain, on Saturday Usain went to Lluest for his first BD competition and in a long arena, he was such a good boy and managed a great score of 75+% we now need to work on his fitness to manage two tests, he was tired in his second test but I couldn’t be more pleased with this boy who only a short time ago couldn’t canter more than a circle! Lots to work on but he has such a great attitude.
Today Fuggle went to Lluest for a lesson with the truly inspirational Islay Auty. I had lost my way with Fuggle recently and it was so beneficial to talk it through with Islay and to have fresh eyes on what was happening, by the end of our session to use Islay’s words we have won the battle but not the war so we have lots to work on. We are so lucky that Lluest run these clinics and I highly recommend them.
It is so important to have a coach you can work with and I am so lucky to have regular lessons with Simon Laurens.
Finally super proud of all my clients who are doing so well with their horses.

Today I headed to Leyland Court for xc schooling with my daughter Lindsey and her young ex racer Bo. It was Bo's first time at this venue and he was very well behaved. He has a lovely trainable attitude and is very willing. He jumped a nice variety of fences and we started to link a few fences together. It is so important that these experiences are positive and that we ask a few questions whilst keeping the fences small to ensure it is confidence building. I look forward to their next outing.

Billy was super happy be jumping again, first jump since before Christmas.
Considering it’s the hottest day so far and Billy’s not as fit he could be, he flew round haha 😂. He’s little fluffy pricked looking for next fence, We both really enjoyed ourselves.
Slowly getting back into the swing of things. Huge thank you to Margaret Miles getting my confidence and love for jumping back.

It is great to be out coaching again, this lockdown I found hard and really missed my clients.
Today I saw Lindsey Stribling with Mojo and I couldn’t be more pleased with how this partnership is progressing, we did lots of work on leg yield at all paces and they produced some lovely work.
Mojo has not always been easy for Lindsey and she is now benefiting from all her hard work.😀
