As promised, photos of the beautiful ladies that I collected from Dos Lunas.

After an horrendous trip down to the competition by a coastal based international company (not naming names, as much as I’d love to😡)- they were driven down there at a terrible speed, and then subsequently didn’t want to load after the weekend away…so they were then BEATEN by the driver of the company whilst my client, her mother and her groom screamed at them to stop. One of the horses belonging to my client had been taken just to experience her first ever stay away big competition …The whole family was totally traumatised.
The owner called me early Monday morning, clearly still very upset, to say her friend had recommended me to her and was I free to try and collect them…
I arrived to this lovely family telling me that the transporter- and a load of his ‘macho’ friends had subjected these two beautiful horses to hours of stress and that they had also totally belittled my client for being ‘young, female, and not being able to train a horse’ (please note, she may be a young lady but she trains all of her own horses, and her clients horses, by herself and was actually competing in the Grand Prix…)
Well.
Teamwork makes the dream work 🤷🏼‍♀️- we had these lovely mares quietly loaded within an hour and 40 mins. No stress. No fear. And absolutely NO beatings. They travelled like angels.

Just a few recent, beautiful moments with lovely clients 🥰🐎…a stunner of a chap on his first leg of transport off to Scotland..amazing to work alongside Veronica Winsents and of course my fave company, European Equine Transport Ltd…and a gorgeous Arabian chap off to his new home up in the mountains♥️.
We’ve also had a pick up of two absolute angels from Dos Lunas Dressage and Polo Club, sotogrande … pics to follow😉

Possibly looking for a sharer….
Based in Alhaurin el Grande at a super yard (fantastic owners, beautiful facilities and trainers/owners on site) on full livery. This horse is an absolute angel. Total confidence giver. Not exactly a jump prospect (jumps like a llama but could pop a course of 60s no probs☺️), but will happily do a prelim or novice test with ease. Hacks out alone or in company like true gent and loves a good ride out. So easy to do..just a total babe in every way. Will stand quietly all day at romerías or ferias. I have a transport company so v happy to offer massively discounted transport to the right person that would possibly like to go to competitions, Beach rides, romerías etc
Now for the negatives:
not looking for anyone that thinks they can rag him round the campo. He loves to go whatever speed you want but I won’t have him battered in to the ground.
No novices- my boy is a total sweetheart so I don’t want him ruined.
I’m just possibly looking for someone that would like to enjoy my lad, lead their kids round the arena on him, go to the odd comp or just enjoy a good ride. Financial contribution required. Either per ride or monthly (happy for the right person to ride as much as they want)

Equestrian facilities more important than house size. Min 2 bed 2 bath
Pool or hard standing for overground pool
Pista/ round pen or good riding locally
Min 4 good sized stables with OCA license
Must have good access.

Long term tenancy required. Private rental, no liveries- will just be used to rest/ exercise horses traveling between Spain and Europe. Plenty of references from landlords and clients. Must also allow two guard dogs and one cat.

So I’ve been a bit quiet recently due to the extremely sad and quick passing of my mentor and surrogate father figure (since the passing of my dad he’s been an absolute rock to me)…
I went back to the uk for the most beautiful memorial party to celebrate his life. Polo and horses were his ‘thing’ so it was super fitting to hold the party at the club where not only did we all spend many a happy day, but also Neighbours on to his beloved Stud farm. I spent the day (ok, it totally rained all day, usual for the uk🙄) with not only his partner Sam, but his best friends Martin and Dave- and multiple old faces🥰… it was a raw day of emotions but so wonderful to catch up with so many old friends. Thank you so much to Sam for organising the most beautiful send off, and for becoming such a dear friend to me. As of next week I’ll be taking bookings. Apologies for being off the radar for a couple of weeks and not really being on the ball with replying to enquiries.
Ps, I obviously made the most of my time back by borrowing a horse and going for a blast on the beach- cant say it was the same as blasting along San Pedro beach in a bikini, but the mare was definitely a sweetie😉🥰.

What a cutie this lady is❤️…hadn’t loaded for years so was a bit suspicious of the trailer at first, little bit of teamwork with myself and her sweetheart of an owner (and possibly a few yummies along the way 🥕☺️)…and on she popped..clever girl🥰

LKSHT offers 🌟🌟PRIVATE 🌟🌟horse transportation.
If you contact us re a trip solely for your horse(s) then please keep in mind that your horse(s) will get 100% private treatment- regular water/hay stops, regular checks, thick bedding on trips over 1.5hrs and including videos and photos along the journey. Please note that Long haul transport is great to save on cost, but it’s like a bus. You pay less as there are multiple horses on board-however, we offer the private taxi service- hence the reason we charge more as we dedicate ourselves entirely to your horse(s). We pride ourselves on taking our time with nervous or anxious- or stubborn!- horses… there’s never any fear or rush used to load our/your precious cargo. Our reviews from clients speak for themselves. We treat your horse(s) as if they were our own.
