Genetics. What was your dog bred for. Who they are coded deep within their DNA. If you are smart you guide it into something productive. If not, suppressing and punishing will not stop behaviours. Nature vs Nurture. They both play a role.

My advice - think of the personality of dog you want to have with you. What suits you. Then find breeds within your criteria and pick one you like the look of.

Know your breed, know the traits, know the purpose, teach them how to live with you🐾❤️

“Denia” has started training with us! Denia was recently adopted (2 months ago) and is still finding her feet in her new home. Denia and her owners will be under our watchful eye to help with a few issues.

Denia is so full of life and energy, which is why her owners have contacted us for guidance and professional training to help channel Denia and work her mind as well as her body!. We will be working with Denia and her owners on improving lead training, recall, basic obedience touch up, and her slight separation anxiety 🤞🏻!

At the start of the residential for Enzo, Enzo was not able to interact with or be near other dogs due to his dog reactivity. Here we have Enzo with Harley, the Bullherder, one of our go-to dogs to work alongside reactive dogs.

We are coming towards the end of Enzo’s residential, and he has been an absolute pleasure to train and look after. Enzo’s short and long distance recall , obedience, lead training , and of course his dog reactivity has changed tremendously; you cannot be any more prouder of how far he has come.

With his willing to learn owners, I am sure Enzo will become a much happier dog.

Enzo is currently with us for 4 weeks residential training for behaviour modification around dogs and obedience touch up . So far, so good.
