For trip leaving Spain once govt vet signs off Monday

In the mean time I've been chatting to rescue associations at Torre pacheco dog show

But it was the birds of prey display that attracted me

I have a defra inspection this morning, on new van via Logistics UK FTA.
Once done I will be getting organised to set off for Spain, with collections on route to port.

Finish off deliveries in the morning upto 2 pm

All aboard from Traces starting on road but have 2 pets to collect on and off route to Irun

No1 may be delivered on evening of 24 th once arrived in Port to give head start to South West

Time between 1 and 2/3
and no 4 is approx 10 hours driving plus dog stops every 5 hours
This route is
outside the norm of, 6 dogs, 6 hours, 300 miles or 10 dogs, 12 hours, 500 miles

Update on travel this week
10 from Ireland 4 from England now in Spain

Returning to UK

2 at base on arrival
3 sevilla
4 los gallardos
1 murcia
1 Villajoysa
1 Madrid North on way out of Spain a pet

3 Rescues postponed not ready and
1 cat flu needs time to recover and get well
2 never got organised in time to travel

So now I await traces
And vet sign offs and the test of the afternoon off

To prepare customs agents docs and pay the import duties.

Telly shave and a good scrub 🤣

Collections and Deliveries UK to Spain

I will post returning dogs pick ups once all info is in

Carlisle Ireland Wales to Lincoln was 22 hours

Spalding Essex Tunbridge Dover 5 hours

Crossing to Tours 8 hours need to Sleep tonight a full 5 hours if dogs allow me 🤣

14 hours on road today still heading north to Scotland when I got a flat tyre so puncture foam got me off M6

just hoping it stays inflated before carrying on via tyre shop in morning

Fingers crossed no 1 is home the night before to help with a great day Thursday getting as many home as possible

Inc greyhound pets for a great couple from. Limerick making a new life in Spain

Now all the pets and rescues ready to return to UK should have all traces documents ready by tomorrow with luck at a reasonable hour

The route finished last night in Govan around 8.30 pm then back home
Most updates throughout on group chat with live location.
I met some great dogs from across Spain
and Adopters and dedicated foster mums and rescue organisers, a privellege to work with you all.

Next trip is 1 St week in October but as weekend ruins the perfect date to leave

We have two 6 th or 9 th
So if returning dogs can be ready by 5 th for pick up I will leave UK via Ireland on 1 St
Or leave UK on 3 Rd
And collect returning dogs over the weekend

I will go with demand and readiness
