š¤ Adopt Eddie š¤
After six months in the UK, 8 month old handsome, tabby boy Eddie has let it be known he is decidedly unimpressed with our weather.
One of our stowaway trio; Eddie and his sisters were found on a ship headed to England after their mum likely left them there to go and look for food. What a surprise she mustāve got when the ship was nowhere to be found š
Of course as it was not planned for the trio to move to the UK they had to be quarantined on their arrival in January. The last pieces in the puzzle were for them to arrive with us here at Catcuddles at the end of May and to be finally neutered earlier this weeks
Sweet, friendly Eddie is looking for a loving forever home with a garden for him to explore.
Eddie could live in a home with children as long as they are used to living with cats and are kind, gentle and respectful towards them.
Eddie is being fostered within the Royal Borough of Greenwich. We home cats throughout London and the surrounding areas.
Eddie is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming.
Can you offer Eddie his forever home? Visit https://www.catcuddles.org.uk/adopt-cats to learn more. If you canāt adopt, please share this post and help Eddie find his purrfect match!

š¤ Meet Our Purr Prince, Gabriel! š¤
Gabriel, a charming young cat with boundless energy and a heart full of love would like to throw his hat into the ring as chief purr officer.
Known for his playful antics (like dunking toys in his water bowl), Gabrielās favorite pastime is cuddling up on your lap, purring contentedly while soaking in your undivided attention.
Gabrielās striking wing-like markings and his handsome black-and-white coat make him as beautiful as he is loving. This intelligent and confident kitten is perfect for an experienced home that can provide plenty of enrichmentāthink cat trees, puzzle feeders, and lots of exciting places to explore and perch.
Gabriel is a huge fan of ācat TV,ā and itās the cutest thing to watch him chat with the wildlife outside. Once heās tuckered out from playtime, he turns into the ultimate cuddle bug, nuzzling into your lap and purring up a storm.
Heās on the lookout for a forever home with a safe garden and a catflap. Due to his bold personality, Gabriel would thrive as the only cat in the household, but he could also get along with a feline-savvy dog.

šāā¬ The importance of neutering šāā¬
šāā¬ The importance of neutering šāā¬
Meet Dana, our long-haired beauty and a top contender for the role of Chief Purr Officer here at Catcuddles.
Dana has been with us for six weeks now. Why is this sweet, beautiful, purry cat still with us, you ask? There's just one reason: Dana, who is approximately two years old, was never neutered.
Female cats can become pregnant as early as four months old, which means Dana has had multiple litters. She arrived at Catcuddles with two older kittens, likely her offspring, and gave birth to another litter shortly after her arrival. Thankfully, this marks the end of Danaās journey into motherhood. Neutering prevents kittens from facing the ordeal of pregnancy, reduces the risk of congenital health problems, and significantly lowers the chances of mammary cancer in females and prostate and testicular cancers in males.
Dana is a lovely cat, and while we adore having her, itās sad sheās spending her summer with us instead of in a forever home. Danaās story highlights why neutering is the safest and kindest choice for responsible cat owners.
Here are just a few reasons why neutering is so important:
š¾ Reduces overpopulation
š¾ Reduces the likelihood of losing your cat
š¾ Prevent fights and spread of disease
š¾ Reduces unwanted and often dangerous pregnancies
š¾ Helps stop suffering
š¾ Reduces the risk of certain cancers
In many countries, including the UK, we are facing a crisis of feline over-population. There are simply too many cats being born and not enough suitable, long-term homes for all. With an estimated 10 million homeless cats living as strays on UK streets, and many thousands more in rescue that are in need of new homes we must act now.
Backyard breeding and the unregulated sale of kittens is a huge problem, as this creates more cats when there simply are too many already. Since these breeders often do not home check potential buyers, they may also sell kittens to people not prepa
