The dog industry is not regulated - at least not yet, although registration and regulation are on the horizon. In the meantime anyone can set up as a dog trainer or even claim to be a behaviour modification specialist, and unfortunately there are a lot of ignorant wannabes and rip-off cowboys out there at the moment. If you're looking for help, make sure the trainer / behaviourist of your choice is a member of a recognised organisation and is signed up to a Code of Practice outlining key principles and standards which behaviourists and trainers are expected to follow and uphold. The Code should also provide access to a formal complaints/grievance procedure. The RCDTBP is an example:

It's nearly 2025. If one of your New Year resolutions is to teach your dog to walk nicely on leash then we're here to help. Get in touch! Please don't resort to choke chains, prong and electric shock collars. It's far better to teach your dog what you DO want than punish what you DON'T want. There's a big difference!
