🐶We are still seeing or hearing of people walking their dogs in the middle of the day in this hear. PLEASE DON'T.

And please, if you see someone walking their dog, speak up and tell them the dangers. It could save their dogs life.

It’s not easy being a kitten. It LOOKS really easy, but it totally isn’t. There’s tennis to watch & sleeping to do & humans to criticise.
BTW; Djokovic would not have struggled so much in that match if he’d listened to Pip & her bro Arthur & aimed the ball at the paw. 🐾 Nadal would have listened.

If you can overlook their tennis commentary these two are great housemates. weirdly they haven’t been snapped up yet 👀
Someone is missing out on a very entertaining kitten partnership. It’s madness.
Pip & Arthur were rescued from a feral colony but are now very much enjoying not having anything to worry about at all.

Millie was found abandoned near some bins in a taped-up box. ♥️ she’s still only a kitten and she has just a small stump for a tail, believed to be congenital. Our hearts broke for her when she was found. She’s a very sweet playful girl though, who’s forgiven & forgotten her awful start in life.

She’s a proper kitten & loves to explore, climb, and poke her nose into every box and cupboard she can find. she’s also the cuddliest companion you could ask for. Belly rubs, cuddles with her fosterer & snuggling in & watching tv are the things she most enjoys in the evening.

No one deserves a forever home more than little Millie/Stumpina. Could you be her favourite forever human? 🫶

As Wimbledon approaches, here's a vital reminder to store netting away when not in use🚨

This young muntjac sadly passed away, severely entangled in tennis netting, after the extreme exertion of trying to escape on a hot day.

Netting poses a danger not only to wildlife but pets too, and last year, we received 1,355 reports of animals trapped in netting.

Please share this post as a reminder to remove and store sports netting after use🔁

Bless Davina. She tries. 🙈 occasionally she has a sensible thought in that fluffy head but it’s not often… this is her giving a wave to the camera during her ‘please adopt me’ photoshoot. Yes, her claw got stuck. She was happy to try styling it out though.
Is there room in your life for our permanently confused waving kitten? 🥹 what she lacks in common sense she definitely makes up for with affection 🧡

What to do if you see a dog in a car on a warm day?

First, assess the dog's condition. If they're showing any signs of heatstroke dial 999.

If the dog's condition is critical, and the police haven't arrived yet, your instinct will be to break into the car to free them. But please be aware that this could be classed as criminal damage. You may need to defend your actions in court, so please be sure you're doing the right thing. Legally, you can commit damage if you believe the car owner would consent to it if they knew the dog was in danger.

If you're sure you need to free the dog, tell the police what you intend to do and why. Take photos or videos of the dog. Are there any other witnesses? Take their names and telephone numbers.

Don't be afraid to dial 999. If it's an emergency, RSPCA may not be able to get to you - and the dog - quickly enough. And as we have no powers of entry, we'd need to ask the police to help us rescue the dog. The police will soon let us know if the dog needs our help.

Morning! These little guys need help as they’re tired of being called “that one” “thingy” “stop that” and “the one with the ‘tache & the hard stare.” They need names fast! 🙏

Three girls & one boy (the B&W sticking his tongue out!) please send suggestions! They were all feral but are settling into very playful wee mites with their own characters. Favourite names will be chosen on Friday so reply below ⬇️ and then we can think about rehoming them 👀

When you poison animals deemed 'pests', you also poison the wildlife people love most.

This poor barn owl was found flat and unresponsive in a field in Suffolk back in January. Vets believe it was due to secondary poisoning, after eating a rodent that had consumed poison.

Rodenticide causes serious suffering and puts other animals at risk too. Latest figures from Barn Owl Trust show that around 80% of barn owls are contaminated with highly toxic SGARs (Second Generation Anticoagulant Rodenticides) 💔

Rodenticide poison is often seen as a quick fix, but it can have serious welfare implications. Find out how you can deter rodents humanely: https://bit.ly/3SOKcB4
