Twisted and squashed, a plastic carrier bag was handed to a member of our reception staff who assumed it was a donation of cat food or towels. To our horror, inside, two kittens were huddled together; damp, frightened and trembling, due to a lack of oxygen. They were quickly taken into the safety of our Veterinary facility and given immediate professional treatment.
Sadly, these sort of occurrences happen all too often here at CHAT. Your generosity is what makes it possible for our charity to continue caring for those animals that have no one else to care for them. If you feel inspired to donate toward the expenses associated with these kittens (and others like them), please click the link attached to this post, or visit our website at celiahammond.org and click the blue βdonateβ button at the top of the page ππΌ Thank you.
