Blythwood Vets is part of Linnaeus Veterinary Ltd (A Mars Company). Our clinics are located in Hatch End, Bushey, Northwood and Stanmore.

We are a small group of veterinary surgeries focused on small animal care located in North London. We offer a friendly, experienced veterinary service; many of our staff and clients have been with us for many years. You can reach us 7 days a week and outside of our normal opening hours offer a 24 hour emergency service.

Diwali is almost here! 🔦

While the Festival of Lights is a special time for families, the fireworks can be unsettling for pets. A few ways to help them feel safe:

🎆Walk dogs earlier in the day before celebrations begin.
🎆Close curtains and play calming music to soften loud bangs.
🎆Create a safe space with their favourite blanket and toys.
🎆Make sure pets are microchipped and collars are secure, just in case they get startled.

If you know your pet struggles with fireworks, speak to us for more advice and support.

🐾 Meet Arlo! 🐾
This gorgeous boy was in to see us recently with an upset tummy. He was such a brave patient and quickly discovered that the best medicine is… cuddles! 💕

Our lovely receptionist Lou was on hand to give him plenty of comfort and snuggles while he waited and as you can see, Arlo definitely approved! 🐶✨
