🌾🚜 Last week, our combine was hard at work out in the fields, bringing in the fruits of this year's labour! There's nothing quite like the sight of the golden crops being harvested, row by row. 👍🚜🌾
💙🖤 Quite a rare sight to see on the farm! A brilliant Jay bird stopping by for a quick bite of suet. These lovely birds are definitely the most colourful members of the crow family. They are usually quite shy woodland birds, rarely moving far from cover so this was a great start to the week to capture 📸💙🖤

🌻 Sunflowers are fascinating in how they grow, as they have the ability to track sun's movement (heliotropism). Here is a quick glimpse to show just how they follow the sun to thrive and maximize growth ☀️
Fact Friday: The Siskin - A fascinating fact about Siskins is their feeding habits. Siskins have a unique way of extracting seeds from cones sometimes wedging them into tree bark crevices. They use their feet to stabilize the cone, and then expertly peck away at it to access the seeds. 💛
☔️ At least this starling is embracing the rain with a refreshing dip on the farm! ☔️
